Andrew has a point, cs 1.6 is currently one of those games stuck in limbo like teamfortress 2 and counter strike source. The 2010's players namely what ambrosia was associated migrated in other hype games like dota, csgo, pubg and what other mobas and survival and shooters are on the market.
I could have used the term glory days as a juvenile denominator when the platform of hype games that thrived on peers and esport popularity was getting started with fps's. Then again counter argument is that nD is still kept a float somehow, so there is relation to mysterious factor why it works for them but not for us. It's a very natural thing to assume effects and transitions from structure and hierarchy but such as scale by completely removing the old guys from the seats maybe had something to do with it.
But to justify this term, i can only say that the first 2 years after ambrosia's creation were pretty good in regards of buildup. It wasn't out of the question that it's gonna be a slippery slope after younger players outgrow the marketing ploys of ambrosia for their dedication and choice, but it happened.
