Dear Ambrosians,
I see that most of you guys are complaining that a bunch of topics are being moved to the drama corner, and you don't like that. I totally understand you, a topic might seem like a drama topic to one but not for the other. That's totally understandable as opinions differ from one individual to another. I am here to try to put an end to this, and no this is not another shit post but an actual serious post (don't move topic to drama corner please - couldn't resist sorry!).
First and foremost, I have to clear the air. Since I am the moderator of the drama corner, you might think that I am responsible for everything that is in the section. You are right and wrong at the same time, allow me to explain. Everything that is created within these walls is indeed my responsibility, however I do not have the access to move other topics that are created outside this section to the drama corner. This is out of my hands really. So if you have any complaints as to what topics are being moved to the drama section, please contact the management.
Now I will tell you guys how I spot drama and how I know whether a topic is worthy of being moved to the drama corner. First and foremost, understand that there is a fine line between seriousness and drama. When an individual is being serious, he will try to provide some data/proof to back up his theory/idea. When it's all about drama, the individual will try to reply to the individual he is in quarrel with just for the sake of it, there are no proofs and sometimes his thinking lacks logic as he wants to have the last word and that's why drama topics never die.
Now you might ask what about the topics that start as a rational serious conversation or discussion and then transforms into a drama thread? Should these topics be moved to the drama corner? Well if you ask me, then I would say yes. The entire topic should be moved here. But why not split the replies that are dramatic and make it their own topic? Well, most of the time when you split the reply and make it it's own topic, the context is gone. Imagine a guy opening that topic, he'll get lost unless he already read the topic that the reply was first created in and makes the connection between the two topics.
Hope that answered most of your questions.
Regards,
