But, can u change so we can access recent topics from any forum without it saying "the board you specified is located on a different forum"i also agree with that. "Recent topics" should be shown for all sections, not separated.
would be better...
i find it pointless tho, add each game board as a child board on the game board so you'll have less boards, pointless to create new forum for each one of them
i disagree with the designs of the sub-menu, now forums has 3 menus which is bad, these things can be done in a simple way and really nice way aswell... but im not saying its a bad idea its a good idea but can be made much better and more simple.as we said still in progresse its just that we wanted to make it public now so if there is any problem people would be able to suggest or report stuff. So its not finished its a beta start.
Well, this is made to simplify the forum experience for other people, those who want to deal only with what they are interested in. This is ofc a MASSIVE change (visual and code wise), and it will take some time for me to fix some bugs, customize, and for users to get used to it. As it is now, Id say its a pain in the ass switching from one subforum to another just to check recent unread topics, but I hope im going to find a solution to that (thats my main priority atm).'
Maybe it doesnt look the best now, but I believe that in a few weeks it will be much better than it is right now, making it a whole new experience. (And ofc if it turns out to be successful)

I concur, this is not simplifying anything. Actually it makes it more confusing for people that each part has their own forums, creating confusion regarding whether it is standalone or integrated forum.
If you wanted to extend boards for specific games, sub-boards not only would make it less confusing, but also would make them more active.
I guarantee you 99%^of these boards will end up unused.
a) because switcihing between 4 (essentially 5 if acknowledging the main forum) is too much of a hassle
b) the forum is oversatured with boards
c) the sub-forums are not visually represented well enough or intuitive enough for users to explore these sub-forums
d) Just... why?
All in all i feel like this is a bit of overthinking. There are currently not enough members to fill these boards nor is it visually, psychologically and all in all pleasing to use 4 subofrums inside of 1 forum which already is full of dead sub-boards.
EDIT/PS: Also from designer standpoint, please change the font - ideally implement a new typekit for the buttons and add a proper transition border around them. They look a bit out of place right now and the font doesn't fit the style you were going for.
Yep, I find the switch between each subforums and then back to the main forum pretty painful currently. I'm really not a fan and honestly, I like having an overview of the whole forum at once so I know what is active and what isn't and I can read what interests me.Feeling the same here, going to each section to check unread threads while before one button gave me all the unread threads for the whole forum.
Feeling the same here, going to each section to check unread threads while before one button gave me all the unread threads for the whole forum.A very high percentage of functions are "sandboxed" to their sections (subforums).
Maybe just have the recent unread topics hook to all the sections, than having each section use it's own sandboxed functions?(probably other functionalities are now sandboxed to their sections).
What's the question mark though :DProbably for lazy asses who wont check this topic, and are wondering what "global unread" is :D. Hover the question mark, and ull see the explanation.
"We aim for each games audience to have a place of their own and if they get interested in other things we support then great, but again a lot of people are interested in only Minecraft and nothing else, so why should it all be under one big page?"Oh, and don't you think the "global unread posts" is going to be a big clogged? You want to give each game it's own dedicated forum so the users who are solely interested in minecraft don't have to see the CSGO boards and whatnot, yet you make a global unread posts where they WILL see the CSGO topics and posts. ::)
I'm guessing its due to the arma server and whatnot.
tbh should've just given them there own forum instead of mess up this counter-strike related forum. There's allot of communities which support more then 5 games and they have one forum for it all, and it looks a hella more appealing then the current ambrosia forum :(

The name needs to change tho, as I am sure you didn't know that :D It will be something like "current page unread topics" or something down the line.
