How to launch your server and different ways:
Most people launch their private serversby clicking on the hlds.exe but heres outher ways: (also i recommend if ur hosting a server from your pc to put it on max priority just go to task manager, go to processes/tasks (or something like that bad translation from portuguese to english) then select hlds.exe with right mouse button and put priority on HIGH or REAL TIME (i dont recommend real time).
Launch your server by cmd:
Make a shortcut of hlds then open it with ur right mouse button and go to properties
You will see this line here: "H:\\\\HLDS\\\\hlds.exe" (in case yours will probably be C:\\\\) then add this after that like so it looks like this "H:\\\\HLDS\\\\hlds.exe -console -game cstrike -ip 192.168.1.5(your ip goes here) -port 27015(you can change to any port you want) +maxplayers 18(max players on server)"
If you want you can also launch with a .bat file and on this one you can already force it to run in high priority skipping the task manager step which is rather usefull and it will already run on cmd (i think run the server on window cmd is fastter than hlds console but thats ur choise)
to make the .bat file just create a new notepad file and then write this on it "START/HIGH hlds.exe -console -game cstrike -ip 192.168.1.5 -port 27015 +maxplayers 18" remenber ip and stuff change it to the stuff of your pc this is just a example
