1v1 lag issue
« on: December 28, 2018, 12:04:05 am »
People have been complaining about the server, it was lagging alot.
I think variations and sv weren't stabled, they kept getting red which could be seen through net_graph
kindly fix it

Kindly tell these people to shut up.
Whenever someone dies or loses they blame lag for it.
It's fine. Chillax bruh.

Yes, We're aware of the lag... Unfortunately.

Redwolf is hard at work trying to root the problem.

If we're unable to find the issue we will have to move the server onto our dedibox ( Hosted on a VPS Right now )
Which means the IP will change.

Our 128Tick server runs on our dedi which runs on 4.2Ghz
The 64Tick on the other hand is hosted on a VPS. I'm not sure at which Ghz it runs at.

The easy fix would be to move the 64Tick over to the dedi.
But that also comes with a changed IP.
Which we're trying to avoid

I'd say that it's the 4.2 GHz, you realize that when more players are getting on the server the server is lagging more and more.

Changing the IP could solve the problem, but I'm not sure how long. I don't know how exactly the servers are running, can't tell more.
Best regards,

Joe

We had 32 players 128 tick on the old server, and there werent any lags. After all 1v1 servers broke (valve update) server started behaving oddly.
I lowered the tick to 64 and opened a new 128 tick server in a 4.2ghz machine, and now im getting reports that both servers are lagging.
