Hey all... so well Yes i am new to this game CS 1.6 and i will say i really enjoy it a lot. But i of course have some ?,
So could any one help me about some stuff with console commands. and here i DO NOT mean cheat's I fucking hate Cheaters. just to claer that up !!!  no i just the basic fps_max and rate 25000 and all that good stuff for better game play :-) well do i have to type it in every time i play or log on to a server. or is one time all that it take's ?
and if you have other good hint and stuff for me well be more then free to share whit me

type this cmds one by one , before joinning server or when you in doesnt matter 
fps_max 100
cl_cmdrate 105
cl_updaterate 101
rate it depande on your pc + connection + fps / like me i use 145000 but if am lagging or get fps drop the recoil gets bad . u can use default value 25000 , but better try on offline game your spray on diffrent rate value
ex_interp 0.01

and look on youtube how brust fire and find your sensivity that you feel most confortable with it

Thank you. so i have to type it in every time nice to know :-) and it makes more sens now why i could not feel the defirence in game lol  and okey i will try to look at the other stuff, but my ping is okey i think.. all ways ok low... so do not know if it will help me any way to fildle around with that...

And yes did find some video with the sensitivity and stuff and think i fund mine, low but quite nice :-)

You dont have to type it every time you log to cs,there is a file called "userconfig", Depends on where you installed cs for example (C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Cstrike\usserconfig.cfg)
open the file and type the commands you need and save it.  @Poxy gave you most important cmnds.

Ps; you play better with your own config .

Thanks but my only problem now is that when i put in what i want in userconfig..cfg ,,, it  will not stay there it will not save it 
When i open the game it just go's back to defoult ?

Well, after you’re done make sure you set ur config to read only..
That will help you to protect you config so no one can screw it..

well thank you that seems to work i try to delete the "userconfig" folder but it comes back every time i start the game, what i meen , when i open it , well it looks like this. :

rate "20000"
cl_cmdbackup "2"

Was dos that do for my game play when just in the "config" folder change all this :

I had the same issue  cs not saving my current seetings, what to do , check your confing file and userconfig as well if they"r "read only" that can stop your from changing your settings, if not delete them both and customize your game and i think it should work.

"read only"  got all of that stuff. did try it all.nothing worked, then like you i think all so  well.. i will just delete the folder. but like i said..
no go 
so yes ... i  just a lot of time before i can start play on cheking  and /or customize
