inactivity due to a sad incident

Hello guys, i havent played for the past 3 days maybe i just played once for 15 mins and I couldn't even stay any longer, well im gonna make​ it a short story since this board isnt for stories but i hope it will help some people around here, so i have a friend whose dad is one of the most popular actors around here and his mom is someone who loves him and takes care of him. this friend is in my school and one of my besties, i love him so much and he was just like my brother and that started from 2008 we grew up with the same likings and we together everytime, after a while he met some friends at school who smokes and are rude but they were fun, he spent lots of time with them since then, we kept also having fun, sharing secrets, hanging out and lots of stuffs but he was just getting more and more different than the one he used to be, in 2013 he started drinking alcoholic drinks and thats when he was 16, well it was a secret from his parents, he kept on these drinks and with those friends then he started smoking weed at the age of 19 at that time i kept arguing with him to quit it and it was making him depressed also Changing​ his lifes style, so 6 days ago i was so sad and angry with him and I told him that i was not gonna talk to him for a long time till he improve himself, he was sad because i was his only "true friend" and then we just ended up like this for 2 days, the 3rd day he started posting weird posts on ig and stories on Snapchat, that worried me, so then i told him that i was sorry about what i did and i told him to meet up somewhere, he said he was going to Italy on a vacation in a mean way, so he said after he reach italy we were gonna talk .well after he reached italy i replied to some of his stories and he kept answering me with "stfu and get away" yeah he said that and repeated it a lot, well the third day i was gonna settle everything and i was also worried so i sent him loads of messages showing him how i love him and i want to protect him and see him and have fun with him and have unforgettable moments and memories.... Well i kept waiting for him to reply but he didn't, till the next day and thats when i knew he was dead by a cause of a heart attack at this young age, im in a very bad condition these days due to that, and i hope everyone around to take care of themselves.. anyways i wont be able to play the next 2 weeks maybe, im gonna play but maybe 15 mins a day and i might check forums at night, so please everyone take care and show the people whomever your worried about love... and never tell them something that might hurt them, because u might not be able to apologise later and regret what u did..., thanks for reading if you actually did and take care everyone and sorry for the bad English​

That is very unfortunate and sad, I hope the best comes to you and his family.
Just a little opinion, whenever I'm sad or down I  like to play some singleplayer games it keeps my mind off it, I think it'd be better you distract yourself rather than blame yourself.

Thanks everyone for wishing me luck in life and happiness and thanks for the advices, im going to turkey for 2 weeks in greenfields and farm lands which my dad own, so i can rest and try to forget the past and focus on the present and the future

i cant even imagine  the situation you are in, Losing a friend is one of the most painful the person can experience especially that you were so close friends.  and it is hard to accept it. may god  forgive him and may gives you a happy life .but  you have to move at some point .you dont have to keep blaming yourself ,It's the  God's will.

wow. honestly what a sad story, I really feel sad for that, I know its hard to handle such a situation where you lose someone who you love and you both used to be the best friend.
I really have nothing more to say instead of be patient, and this is the life tho, try to be strong, and good luck :/

I really feel sad for that, it is really hard to have good friends at this stage and it is a big damage to losing a friend. I hope everthing will be fine and this wound gets filled soon.
Just remember, none can be your friends except siblings and we shouldn't  make friends which shows a wrong path.
