Update #7 [Whole lot of business]

[Ed]

Hello fellow gamers! It's been a while since our last update, hasn't it? So lets have a look of what has changed, what we are working on and in overall why things are the way they are.

[info]General Info[/info]
- Teamspeak 3 upgrade to 256 slots.
- Randies a.k.a Archon have departed (Got their own ts3 server).
- DMCA Added.
- Back To The Roots Tournament delayed - finish date unknown (possible date - next weekend)
- Recruitment page to be published.
- Security issues - Admins joining un-secure server = someone reading their config.
- DD2 Admin of the year - @Burzum .
- New members since January: 102.
- Billing center to be opened shortly.
- Donations page will be reworked.
- You will be able to purchase Premium Admin for any server or multiple servers with different packages.
- Ambrosia Official Clans are coming!
- Temporary Donations page created.

It does get expensive to run a multigaming community and we greatly appreciate donations from our members. Thanks @Frendy @Jake & @Stanislav Patjukov for your donations!
All the money we acquire goes towards the community and gives us a little breezer to not think too much about how we are going to pay this or that. Every little bit helps, so in this way you will be helping the community to grow more. Everything else is free in the community and we hope you understand that a little help from members would be more then welcome even if its a small amount, everything helps.

[info]Forum[/info]
[okay]- Subforum integration
- Game pages & Staff ranks.
- Global unread & local unread topics.

Working towards:
- Friendlier forum and pages.
- New theme.
- Game page layouts and customization.[/okay]

As you have all seen subforums announcement and the functionality I am sure not everyone finds its uses. There are things we are still figuring out, but it gives us more ways of customizing and giving our users what's most important for them with this method. We are currently working on staff ranks being shown according to their position and the game. Yet most will show on the main page. There is still tons to do here and it is a slow process as we only have @Red Wolf working on it. You can suggest ways of how we can improve things, but don't repeat the same information we have already heard from you.
Each page is going to eventually get it's own theme and the main theme of the forum will change possibly this summer as @Roku has been working on this for a while. It will change things and be more user friendly which is our aim. We know it is a little bit painful at this very moment, specially to do with some technical things like moving topics etc. Overall, we are pleased with the way things are going and we will continue to improve until we are completely satisfied with the look, design and functionality with subforums and forum it self.

[info]Counter-Strike 1.6[/info]

[okay]DD2 Only
- In-game ranking system to be added.
- ESP shown to everyone.
- Chat logging.
- Compromised admin rights reworked.
- Increased Security.

Jailbreak (PrisonBreak)
- Added /gang.
- Added /bribe - (functionality - /bribe name goldamount "give your reason for bribing").
- Error fixing / reducing crash amounts.
- Introduced monthly fee for Skippers (Admins) and Gangs (Clans).
- Gold purchases and VIP packages.
- Looking for a new Server Manager.
- Fixed VIP issues.
- Fixed skin bug while transferring.

Surf
- IT has been opened.
- @black star is acting as Server Manager and Server Tech for Surf server only.
- It is a community server.
[/okay]

You may have experienced some lag issues for the last 2 weeks, I can assure you we have found the problem and it is to do with one of the Minecraft servers crashing, @Velaxers is working on it. We are monitoring the situation for all servers to make sure that this is eliminated.

We are looking to update our DD2 Only server with some sort of ranking feature so we can acquire stats which would be great.

Our Jailbreak server a.k.a Prisonbreak /Cellblock 59 has seen a revival and we see players playing and having fun. Thanks to @Andrew~ for his contribution in successfully achieving this. I have worked tremendously on our Jailbreak server with @TeeKaay updating and fixing crash issues. Still not 100%, but we are getting there. We have fixed a lot of functionality issues and things are stabilizing. As you have noticed, if you type /gang in the server you will see a menu to create a gang. It is expensive yes, but it is also very powerful option for gangs. Once you reach quite few levels it is extremely powerful and top gangs will dominate the server.
Another update is /bribe. Now you can send a bribe request by /bribe name goldamount "reason for bribe", the person gets to chose to accept or deny the request.
Gangs and skippers will have to pay monthly fee to Borgata as talked before.

Surf.... We did say we will not be opening any other server didn't we? Well technically yes, but I also said that who ever is interested in other servers and wants to have a go by making it themselves and be responsible of the server to acquire playerbase, they have our blessing. @black star approached us to make Surf server and he has done well even with his lack of knowledge. It is his responsibility to get it active, if it fails, well it comes and goes.

Clanwar server is going to change to Automix server, but we have delayed this due to the fact that we have an ongoing tournament ..... still? Yes, unfortunately we do as we had to delay it due to non of the last participants could play on set time and now we have been busy ourselves. We want to stream it, which makes things bit difficult with people being busy. We will finish it shortly and when it is done - Automix server will take place of Clanwar server.

[info]Counter-Strike:Global Offensive[/info]

[okay]CSGO Surf
- The only server currently operational.
[/okay]

Delayed, delayed and once again delayed. @RAMBATEN has been ill and that's fine, lots of work done already, but getting people in there is still a little bit frustrating. We are still looking for CSGO interest, but it is very minimal which doesn't help the server development. We will get there, maybe? One day? Yes we will, because we will not give up.

[info]Arma 3[/info]
[okay]Altis Life
- Has been launched.
- 126 slots
- Adding customized plugins
- Ranks in TS3 and Forum have been created.
[/okay]

You have seen @Jake's announcement. He is managing Arma 3 and working on plugins at this very moment to finalize the server. Once it is done, activity will follow. Best of Luck.

[info]Minecraft[/info]

[okay]Servers
- Survival to be launched
- Factions unstable due to plugin crashes - High CPU usage affecting all servers.
- Factions in-game shop nearly finished.
- Shortly introducing ranking and VIP shop.
[/okay]

Announcement topic posted by @Velaxers. Survival server is on its way. Fixing issues with some plugin incompatibilities within factions server which is causing stress on our dedibox.

We definitely have enjoyed factions server. Me and Ron created a faction called "As*h*les" and we did have fun with it. We have handed over our faction to @Ninja Assassin as we don't have enough time to no-life in minecraft and run a community. Tough choices, sad life. Also @Ninja Assassin , don't panic, just enjoy the torches!
Nevertheless we are happy with how things are working out. There is still tons to work on, but as usual - development in process.

Staff Changes

@William L. King : COMMISSIONER of Arma 3 Server. Desc: High Command - Commissioner
The Commissioner (Comm) is the highest ranking police officer within Altis Police Department. He is the main man who runs the whole Police Force, deals with government officials and makes changes within the Police Force if and when necessary. @Johnny McGuire : CHIEF INSPECTOR of Arma 3 Server. Desc: The Chief Inspector (C/Insp) is one of the Chiefs of the Regional Leadership Team. He is in charge of one police district (E.g. Kavala or Athira or Sofia). The Chief Inspector has lots of experience as a police officer and if you have any difficult problems, you should go to this man.

@Shahrad : Build Team Leader. To design and build required areas for all Ambrosia Minecraft servers.
@xSirTato : Minecraft Developer.
@Bloonitez  and @PurusZammy  : Factions Server Managers - Minecraft.

@black star : Server Manager &Server Tech of Counter-Strike 1.6 Surf server.

[info][/info]

@Andrew~  :  We thank you for your efforts and success in reviving Jailbreak server. Unfortunately it was extremely difficult to work with you and I am sure you felt the same way about me. Sometimes things don't work together, nevertheless you are always welcome around and we are glad you was part of it.
@Currywurst_36 : It was not an easy decision and somewhat I wished the circumstances weren't as bad. Our main problem was that Curry came with Randies clan and his trust and loyalty was a big question mark. Unfortunately the coffin was that Velaxers and Curry couldn't work together and we had to chose. Thank you very much for your contribution and I wish you stay around, who knows. Things change.
@T4MS1N  : He resigned from Minecraft staff team he was Servers manager of MC. We thank him for his contribution.

[plainbox]Special Thanks to:

@DayLighttt for contribution with Surf server and massive support for Black Star.
@TeeKaay for being awesome and fixing your god damn plugin! We have wasted some evenings doing this. Hats down, you are a legend. Permanent VIP Basic package and 1000 gold as a thank you!
@Frendy for his admin contributions in administration board. We welcome people with new ideas of how to do things better. Thank you.
@lith!um.wow for all the reports you have done. When are you going to apply for administrating dd2 only??

Best wishes to:
@Fisu our Tournament Manager who has actually disappeared, you might say. Last time we spoke was just after Fisu was coming back from vacation with his family and was involved in a car accident. Shouldn't of been anything serious as he messaged me whilst in hospital with a light head trauma, but I do start to worry about what has happened to him, it has been some time and I haven't heard a message back. Best of wishes Fisu! Hope you are well.[/plainbox]

Well...

We all know who is gonna take that head admin position : D

I suppose archon is booted out of ambrosia for good? I never saw those people around the forums and they were pretty much lowkey with the minecraft thing. Hopefully that doesn't affect player activity on the minecraft server

Also freakin abandon Teamspeak when everybody is using discord.
