This is a terrible idea..
it will give a much higher resolution and it's so easy to use.
How will it give higher resolution, it's a video file and it's bandicam, bandicam compresses the video alot and worsens the quality than actual gameplay, If you were to record your "demo" at 720p than someone who watches an actual demo file on a 1080p monitor with his game set to 1080p as well will have higher resolution..
What I'm trying to say here is the video file resolution will be the limited to the recorders game resolution, in the case of 1.6 most likely a 4:3 resolution cause many people play CS with 1280x960,1024x768 etc.
Recording a demo file will let the person watch in whatever resolution they want.
Also Bandicam is not completely free, you can use it for free and record any length videos without limitations but you are left with the watermark on the top of the screen, and you never know behind that watermark something could be happening in the game which can be a clue for demos that are hard to read.
Video will be recorded at 30fps or 60fps, which means you won't be able to watch a smooth slowmotion of something important ingame, with a demo file you can watch a slowmotion of something upto a 1000FPS (no you don't need a powerful PC for it, 1000FPS in a demo file in slowmotion can be achieved with a toaster).
The only "good" thing in recording a video file instead of a demo file I'd say is the PAUSE feature while recording and the filesize.
I don't know if you can pause a demo while recording it and resume it later, can someone confirm?
