Zombie server

I really don't know this but I've been gone for a while and I have seen the change Ambrosia has been through.

This community needs a zombie server and zombies on CS is still very popular. I would suggest a Cs 1.6 zombie plague advance 1.6.1. I'm still working on mine and I try to get the server done completely without bugs. So far a lot of succes but I still think it needs some work. This would be a great addition to this community as I see that most of the servers are actually empty.

You always said this on all communities but never saw you opening your own server? Why not give it a shot with your own plugins

I think Ed needs to send a personal message to each member separately explaining that they won't be opening anymore 1.6 servers.

if I could create my own public server I would need to pay for this but I cannot do that as my parents control my money at this time

This wouldn't really be such a good idea because zp servers require a lot of work on them and a lot of money to spend on boosting,
and most zp servers don't turn out to be so successfull, it's just a waste of time and money.
There are tons of zp servers out there so why do you think players will choose to play here ?
It needs to be perfect so that players actually stay on the server after the boost.
And ambrosia is pretty much done with 1.6 servers, they should be working on other games.

i created my own zombie server a while back, called it chrome zombies and it was pretty popular. Would be 32/32 round the clock.

I miss the old zombie plague servers, both wtb and ambrosia had the generic pew pew zombies without all the funny stuff, i loved em. I think it would be kinda awesome if ambrosia re-opened a zombie server, similar to the old ambrosia and old wtb zombie server. At the moment the majority of the zombie servers got all these weird plugins, bad map choices, and very overpowered VIP systems in place.

ps: i think ambrosia will not be opening any more cs1.6 servers, and instead will be investing more time into CS:GO. Personally, I don't think it's a good idea. However if you do, make servers that people will actually play, please? Something like a Deathmatch, headshot only, dd2 only, ffa server, with ranks? Creating a casual dd2 only, or casual mod server is just a waste of time, it wont be populated unless a hell of a lot of money is pumped into it.

oh yer, would be nice if someone from HQ could post how much money it would cost for ambrosia to host a 32 slot server. Maybe some of us could pay for hosting?
