when ambrosia was down for ages, I went playing UGC.lt. They have many servers which are all crowded. The server has some great plug ins that imo should be implemented in our servers as well:
- remove the auto kick after 30 secs (ridiculously short, what If I need to go to the bathroom?)
- add anti teamflash (for less irritations between players)

edit: will add some more plugins later on that i think are worth implementing to improve the gameplay.

Useless plugins that will only decrease lag in-game for being installed, flash bangs/smokes/grenades are part of the game, disable those items is killing the joy of the game also afk kicker is needed as always, we can't let players going afk more than 20/30 seconds during the game, sometimes they go afk while having the c4 besides if you want to go to the bathroom ask admin to transfer you to spec for seconds after you finish peeing/pooping you can go back and play, no need for useless plugins we've got enough already, and thanks for your suggestions anyway it's appreciated.

Lol useless? 30 secs afk kicker is normal? You clearly have an opinion that you dont want to change, nor have i the feeling that you are even considering..

Completely useless with all do respect for you mate, I doubt you don't even play in Ambrosia anymore, too much plugins means too much lag, currently with the recent plugins we still have a huge lag, now the problem is that you're suggesting some useless plugins we never had before in this community since we are not interested in any actually, we never was tbh, you said you're suggesting some plugins from "UGC.lt" community alright then why didn't you suggest their game stats for example? I've seen it before it's quite interesting it keeps players around more often, but suggesting plugins such as anti flash team isn't needed at all since it only increases lag in the server and maybe it doesn't even fit with the current plugins we have right now such as kill assist, snapshot thing, camp zone etc...

*cough* *cough* Silverquick, the plugin he is referring to is installed already. The timing just needed to be adjusted. I've increased afk kicker to 50sec.

45/50 secs for afk´s is ok

im disagree with antiflash plug. i always post the same example: Terr rush B, they start to flash from tunnels to B bombsite. whole CT team is flashed but Terr rushing are not teamflashed... UNFAIR

I didnt suggest about stats cuz i know nothing about stats plugin, obviously. I was just my suggestion to improve gameplay.

I know about the afk kicker mate, was talking about the anti flash plugin...

I don't think it's a good idea to add more plugins atm, since we have a huge lag on the server, making more plugs right now means more lags.

Enabling anti-flash means huge abuse of what is should do. If lets say for example me and zole on the same team, zole buys 2 flashes, he throws them in b while I run right at it, I don't get flashed but cts do, therefore I can easily shoot them, which isn't fair. Anti-flash plugin also takes away the realism of flash, because when a flashbang goes off, it blinds everyone, hence why it is used as a very tactical weapon against the enemy. You must have boundaries or it will breach it and huge amount of people will complain it. So even if I add it, I will be forced to remove it eventually. So it is a no, I hate flashers, but to avoid it, I usually watch my team, doesn't always work, but it is meant to happen, hence why your team can f up majorly.

On another note, I could add a team flasher punish instead of disabling the flash for everyone else.

my ping is kinda higher than before just dont add anyother plugins... if you wanna do something "Remove afk-kicker- admins can do it if not just leave it be. Thank's.

My friend, would be better if we let admins concentrate and take care of cheaters, rule breakers instead of kicking/slaying/slapping afk's.

Anti team flash is a bad idea. @Eros There is a plugin that shouts "im blind" at the flasher with a message naming which team mate you've blinded. I think it will be very useful.

1. You know, you have team flashed.
2. You know who you have flashed.
3. You can cover them until they can see.

Exactly @Cocainee Vendetta, I've seen it too in some communities before, this plugin announces who flashed you as the teamflasher hears "I'm blind!" and gets a message of the nickname he did flash.

This would reduce team flashing I believe as long as teamflashers would feel so guilty when hearing that voice so they'd do their best not to flash their teammates the next time.

Also I believe this would make drama too between players since it's so accurate and gives the one flashed the exactly nickname of who flashed him.

Read my reply earlier. I don't want to add anti-teamflash. Instead I want to add some sort of punishment, like money loss or something else down the line or even what you suggested.

the most common is 1 that blinds the teamflasher too. so if u flash a teammate u will get flashed too
