Gaming mouse discussion CS:GO
« on: February 09, 2016, 08:15:37 am »
Hey!

I wanna know what mices you currently have and if you can tell me the good sides and bad sides of the mouse..

My current Gaming mices..

- Zowie FK1   => Gonna sell this mouse forward
- G402
- Deathadder Chroma = > Gonna sell this mouse forward

FK1, I have nothing bad to say about this mouse, but somehow the shape is not made for my hand

G402 is pretty awesome gaming mouse I have now, but the problem is the size.. And with drivers I get misslicks right one..So AWP is impossible with drivers but works without them..

Deathadder Chroma..I am so damn frustrated this one..I am raging like S1imple in twitch about the mouse...When you are playin with awp and trackin left and right..It shakes everywhere...

Just bought Roccat Kone XTD : http://www.roccat.org/en-US/Products/Gaming-Mice/Kone-XTD-Series/Kone-XTD-Optical/

I have once had Roccat products and I had huge problems with headset..Every 3 month mic broken..So I hope they have level up their products.

PS. I gonna edit this post later after work..

Mices are personal preferences. I myself use the razer deathadder not the chroma version. Used to have logitech mouse and some other ones but till now I prefer the old deathadder

SteelSeries Kinzu for about 4/5 years, was a good mouse but it started double clicking so right now I use DeathAdder Chroma for quite a while and I must say that I enjoy using it.

as todo said its personal preferences, for me i bought the G502 and i really like it cuz you control the weight and the balance and i like a heavy mouse and allows me to adapt dpi whenever i want (in-game dpi shifting) cuz i don't play csgo only.
it have many other cool features.
G502 will be a good choice  ;)

Using G402, I love it but the only problem is that those things around the sensor are coming off, they come out from sides and become really sharp, they put some lines on my mousepad :l, I have to push them back in.

So that a salty kid like simple rages on a mouse we should not use it? Like I said a mouse is personal preference. Same as a keyboard and a headset.

Next to that I think that might be you a bit with the mouse I don't have any problems with it.

Yeah it is personal preference..Some mices is awesome for others but might be bad for others..Depends on your hand size also..I personally prefer smaller mices..

Everything in gaming is personal preference..Copying proes settings will not make you play like them :D

mices

Singular: Mouse
Plural: Mice
ULTIMATE Plural: Mices

Anyway, it's an unpopular opinion, but any gaming mouse works. "Different" mouse doesn't make you a better player.
For example i have razer deathadder 2014, if good player uses it, he will play good, and if someone noob uses it, he will be noob.
It's not the mouse, nor the keyboard, nor the chair, nor the monitor, it's just the player. (The PC performance is helpful tho)

Thanks, I was reading his last reply and was wondering what did he mean by "mices".
I am now enlightened.

mice's i own :

Steelseries Rival: a verry good mouse, i have bought in total 3 of them because if i rage i might spit it out on my mouse. luckily i have moved on and dont rage anymore.
PRO's: Good sensor, mice settings on own preference with the steelseries engine, good shape.
CON's: rubber on the sides wear out after a time, new rivals dont have this issue, sometimes the mouse bugs( but only sometimes, i see alot of complaining about it but i have it maybe once a month and its really not that bad, just a perfect headshots drown away :D)

Zowie ec2-a: also a good mouse where i can control my spray abit easier then the rival. the size is abit too small for it but in the end its all good.

PRO's : best sensor on the market, good overall shape.
CON's : plastic coating, maybe too low quality for the price you pay.

Oh s1mple raged on that DeathAdder Chroma simply (pun intended) because he didn't use it before and he was forced to use it because of the sponsorship that Team Liquid has with Razer. Trust me, most of you would probably feel the same, you get used to one mouse and the next day you have to use something that you haven't used before.

Bought kone xtd a year ago. Been happy with the mouse and even not using all its potential. But lovely mouse, good, big sized mouse, can adjust the weight, mouse 5 button, my 2nd fire is in just great position , at the end of my thumb, and it looks great.

My preferences if buying a mouse:

Size - to fully fit my hand, as many of them are just too small, narrow.
Shape - will my palm feel good on it.
Weight - can I adjust it.
What's inside - dpi, sensor type, options to modify.
Mouse 3,4,5 button layout, position, acces.
The surface "pads" - the quality of the surface pads or whatever they are called.
Manufacturer - never would buy a mouse from a small company, trust issues you know.
Feedback - always would google the shit out to find all pros and cons.

And finally the looks, who gives a shit about the looks? Your mom who would be only girl that comes in your room for the next 10 years? :D

Why would you adjust the mouse's weight?
Other than that, those are exactly the preferences people should look into.
1 extra option should be "Is it color changeable?" :D

Why would you adjust the mouse's weight?

no idea tbh,all mouses feel the same weight for me pretty much

my mouse has the weight option as well,it looks like bullets in a revolver,7 small steel balls,I remember me seeing it for the first time then someone told me about it I was like cool :D
