Anyone know how ESEA works?

So I just bought ESEA for like $6 the cheapest. I am quite lost on what to do now? Is it like faceit where I just search for games and so on. Anyone want to shortly explain how it works and what I click?

Do i need a team to search for a game?

It uses a thirdparty client to register your stats, the same as the ESL client was used for cs 1.6.
