Anonymous Admins.

Hello there, I'm just wondering why this didn't happen yet already?
It's about making admins a bit more anonymous which will help a lot of admins to do their work without going undercover... It will reduce and surprise the cheaters and rule breakers... especially for new players, it's mostly new players who come in the server and hack anyways.

I believe it has something related to amx_show_activity... I don't really know how it works but yeah I hope when I type something in say @ or say # chat or kick/ban a player my name won't appear to them which will also make the players respect others equally due to not having any idea who the admin is. I hope it's set to 3 so that when there are many admins online no confusion can happen of who used the specific command...
I think that many other admins will agree on this...

hackers will get a ban message on console and on server too


any admin can disconnect from server, change nick and join back to play or spec undercover

Not at all, Admins Job shall stay between admins not between players. You guys are there to play not to judge an admin on what he's doing... And we are there to keep the environment playful and keep the enjoyment running. so that's a point which will help us reduce the arguments between players and admins on the actions taken. If that disables the possibility of you arguing in the server and you feel that judge wasn't done right towards you, Your argument is welcome here in the forums.
I don't see any mistake in that in-fact keeping the players and admins both more cautious is more professional. Correct me if I'm wrong?

- Well only few admins (lets say 30% of all admins) go in server with different nick get good evidence and check players and afterwards start playing with their nick, however the rest go in server and the first thing you see in White chat is : HIIIIIII IM HERE ( -.- ).

So in conclusion, this suggestion is already implemented by the admins, but the thing is that not all admins do that. You could have wrote this as a Tutorial How to get hackers, rather than suggesting it.

And that. New hackers have no idea of current admins, unless someone comes in YELLING that he is admin, which many do. Plus /admins is disabled so they have no idea who is and who is not.

Oh, noes you didn't understand it... I am 100% aware when there is an undercover admin. It's usually no one in the server but Ultor and I rarely do it (in Jailbreak)
Let me explain it in an example: When you kick a player, me for example it says Popay | JLz has kicked CrimeMiz from the server.
But when amx_show_activity is set to 3 it will appear to the normal players like this "Admin has kicked CrimeMiz from the server." and will be viewed as "Popay | JLz has kicked CrimeMiz from the server." for the other admins online...
Or in the tsay the big chat when you speak your name appears before the thing you sent. is there an actual need for your name to appear there? I think not because it's usually a warning or an information.
That'll keep the admin Anonymous for new players without them knowing who he is which will make any dead player scare the hacker and make him think he's the admin and he might be spectating. So at that time when new players don't know who admins are they should respect each player because they have no clue who is the admin.
If admins cooperate well as they are supposed to there will be no confusion... Just communicate to each other a little bit more o the admin chat. For example: each admin online at the same time can chose a colour to use in the big chat if he is willing to expose himself as an admin in front of the players, and so on for different commands.
This will be really helpful because as I said it's usually new players that break the rules and use cheats.

i doubt it matters that when you kick/ban a player it shows "admin" instead of "name"
when you have executed a command the players will know there is an admin online and imo it wont matter much if they know/dont know who he is
for the white chat you can use amx_tsayy

u can see there is admins online, but u dont know who is exactly

well, kind of usefull, since players will not know who is/are the admin/s online. so players never will know when an admin joins or leaves server (only for nicks, obvs)


but, as supertomi said, no matters if players dont know who is the admin exactly, they will know there is admin online when they see a player being kicked or a screen message. so they will know there is admin online on server and they will try to hide their hacks the same

Unfortunately all the plugins i've looked at seems very outdated and lots of people have problems, this idea will have to be rejected.
