CS:GO Question...
« on: April 04, 2015, 11:12:50 am »
Guys ive been Silver 3 for ages now;

I always end up first in my team or 2nd with like 20-30 kills and maximum 10 deaths. How many games do I need to win to rank up? ...

It depends on how many frags you have , the wins and the amount of MVP's you earn in a game.
You have to win at least 2 games in a row with good amount of frags and MVP's.

get 2 games in a row with 6 MVP+ and you rank up.
If you don't get much MVP, it could take 4-5 matches in a row.
The more you rank up, the more games and MVP it requires.

MVP is that golden star besides your score :D?

I always get 4/5. Aint it like the more kills the higher MVP?

It is the golden star beside your score yes.
Every round, MVP star is given to the guy who was most important in the winning team.
For example, kill 3 people while your friend kills 2, you get MVP, vise versa.
Plant bomb and let it explode, you get MVP, defuse bomb, get MVP.
if you get 5 kills and someone else defuses the bomb, he gets MVP.

It's important. This is why when someone clutches the round, you give him the defuse to get the MVP, don't steal it from him ;D (unless it's dominic)

Gotta carry like fuck for a good 4-5 games I reckon, never been in silver though but I heard it's pretty gay to rank out of, similar to how the DMG -> Eagle gap is.
Just keep going and pray you dont have to win 14 in a row like me to get promoted :D
If only TS3 was like this all the time <3

It also took me ages to get rid of silver 1, I had been silver 1 for more than 2 months. suddenly, for 3 weeks i went silver 4. And with 2 wins in a row. I think it depends on MVPs, your gameplay, and try to play different maps. And I think knowing some nade spots will help you.

How you expect to win if you only press F3?

Well, i think he is. But im saying that nades are useful, but throwing them like a "PRO" may get you or your team in a tight situation.

Yea,, well if u have a lot of games already and u fuked them up badly, I suggest u to get a new acc, and keep the current one for smurfing, IF ur sure that u should be on a better rank than the others. I had nova 3 for ages, and opend new acc, and got mg2 after 9 wins and 1 draw :)
