[Added a new version of this]Self made map

EDIT: DOWN BELOW I HAVE NEW SCREENSHOTS. THANKS

Hello Everyone,

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to post it here.

I asked Burzum if self made maps might be run on Ambrosia Public. I made an Aztec themed map, and its about 95% finished, but I can use the feedback so far for the last 5%.

I made the map because the original aztec is a bit off balance due to T's getting stuck at base when there are to many CT's.

Also if there are people farmiliar with Hammer Editor, can someone help me with the lightning in dark hallways?

Sidenote: It could be that you need HlBasics.wad (for the sky) it is in your Half-Life folder if it isn't in your cstrike folder yet.

Download it here: http://tempsend.com/6CADD6D41A

Thanks in Advance,
Marceaux

moved to Public server board

seems interesting

but

if every player must move this file before join this map, this could be a problem..... dunno if that file can be added for download from server

Use darkulator or change light_enviroment itensity and add some lights so you have more dark places. About river,, you can just do func_water

Forgot to tell sth, use -nowadtextures so you have textures included in bsp.

hlcsg , then hlbsp, then hlvis and hlrad

Its a package i found on internet. I'm not even sure if thats the right order aswell, but it gives the best result.

U using default hammer compiler right? when you click compile, new window appears, make sure you are in advanced not normal

EDIT: Oh, i got a Question
have you put your map in a block with sky texture?

No it's not the default compiler, because that one doesn't work.

I have hlcsg, hlbsp, hlvis and hlrad as .exe files from a download.

I drag and drop the files on there to run them, check if there are no errors and then run it in cs 1.6 or cs cz.

Edit: Yes its in a block with Sky texture. The Sky texture is currently from HLbasics.wad i dont know which .wad has another sky
