Ambrosia re-released (blog/Updates/News)

Hello all you wonderful people, Christmas the time of surprises is drawing near and some big surprises are going to occur in Ambrosia today as well. We've got a lot of news, which might be a bit of a shock for some, but they were necessary in order to move forward with further development. This may come off as a bit of a shock for some, but we still have our full plans to continue working on Ambrosia, maybe even in merits unseen before which due to previous situation were not quite reachable. It's going to be an exciting albeit a tad stressful time as we will be in some sort of re-branding Ambrosia and changing the way it has worked for better.







This is probably the biggest surprise to many. We will be saying our goodbye to numerous longtime household names. To begin with, probably most importantly, we're saying our farewell to *Shark*, who will be retiring from his Emperor position. We, all in here, would like to thank him for all the wonderful years we've spent with him here and although we may have not always been without misunderstandings, we always appreciated his presence in Community and wish him all the best in whatever he plans on doing.

Furthermore we are singing our goodbyes to Eros and Sneaky~Ron as well, as they both will be retiring from their respective position on permanent basis. We'd like to thank them for their long-time service and we appreciate the time they have dedicated towards improving the Community. We understand it might be odd not seeing them with their rank around anymore, but we hope you understand that these changes were necessary in order of establishing a team that shares the same perspective on where they want to see Ambrosia in the future. Regardless, we are looking forward to the future and albeit it might be grim for a while without them, we are fairly positive about what's to come.

Last but not least, there are also some more positively-minded hierarchy changes, ReFresh will be stepping in as the newly named Head Admin of Jailbreak and to further strengthen the successful launch of our Deathrun server, we have chosen terraboN as the new reinforcement HAA.


There will be more promotions in the upcoming days, but for now, that's all we can with guarantee announce.






Not to sound like a broken record, but we will be closing the Zombie server again. We unfortunately feel like it has no bright future ahead and will rather compensate for it with new upcoming servers in CS:GO and GMOD that we feel like we can fully dedicate and fund. We are sorry for our loyal Zombie players and we hope you will find another server when you can enjoy your time in Ambrosia. This also means Ray will be moving back to the position of Forum Moderator

Also we will be bringing the good old Surf back, reverting the Gungame back to the Classic.  We hope there still is a passionate playerbase that will want to come back and enjoy the surf how they loved it.  The emphasis will be once again rather on surfing and actual skills in valiant combination of surfing and shooting, rather than grind-em-out shoot-everything-that-moves gungame.

Other than that, as mentioned, new servers are coming up very soon so you will have new servers being launched in near future, so there's something certainly to look forward to.






All in all, while this may be a little anti-climatic, it is certainly something that is exciting for me and many others in Ambrosia Staff team. We feel like now it's the actual opportunity to take Ambrosia to next level. We promise to do our best to make the community even bigger and better than it ever was. The steps may seem a tiny bit odd at first, but they were necessary in order to get closer to desired "destination" and achieving our goal.   All in all, it will be interesting times ahead of us, in advance we wish you Merry Christmas and are looking forward to show you the new changed Ambrosia that will slowly but surely be transforming in the upcoming days,weeks,months and years.

Sami , I'd like to thank you for the jb experience I had these last few months , it was like some of my best moments here in Ambrosia and I actually had fun in JB for once , a thing that I actually forgot for a long time , so I'm really thankful for that
About some changes , I do believe some changes are quite nice , a GMOD server will be nice and it will really encourage me to finally buy the game then =D , some other stuff I did not really appreciate ...
