Sigh, I do a forum account to see how things are going and I see what I tell to people getting taken way out of context.. @Lagger ~ Ima Tell U How It Was

Yeah, I do stand up by my words that it felt people were lazy. I won't deny it because when topics barely get any answers when they browse the forums, you wonder whether they're actually trying to make things work out or not. I think that a few of the Staff (not going to give names here) feel that simply because they've done a lot in the past, they shouldn't accomplish as much currently which is a fallacy in my opinion. If you believe that you have nothing to accomplish left or would rather not do as much anymore, I think it's much better for you to leave.

However, the major reason I left was that to begin with, I came here to help because I was asked by people I held in high regards and I had nothing to do at the moment anyhow and I saw nothing wrong with lending a helping hand. It turned out not to be worth it for me when it started affecting my own mood due to being lynched publicly by countless people for decisions that had to be taken. Logic turned out not to work out with people for reasons that are beyond me. People ask for something, you warn them of the issues it would cause, they still want it and it gets added to make you happy then you blame us for what happens afterwards when you knew about it.

Not to mention I actually disagreed with the way stuff was being handled, be it publicly or privately. I also had few incidents with Staff members that really pissed me off to the point of asking myself what the heck I was doing here to begin with. That coupled with the admins and regulars that were not trying to be understanding made me think about quitting, I was about to and saw Raven want to start a project. I gave it a few days to see how many staff members would reply and it turned out to be disappointing. I saw regulars whine once again and by that point I was done.

There is no person here that is overall more right than the other one. I feel that both sides have acted wrongfully and have started a feud that could've been prevented. I however firmly believe that the regulars and admin did not cut the slack at any moment while not attempting to remedy to the situation but instead start a bigger drama often, there were little suggestions proposed but a lot of complaining and this is the primary reason as to why I left. Also, while I can understand the Staff has a life & all (I do too, nothing surprising I guess.), I think they could've put more effort onto it but perhaps due to the way they were treated, they didn't feel it was worthwhile? I'm unsure.

Next time, please don't pull words out of my mouth without context. I'd appreciate it.

PS:
1. If a suggestion was rejected for being stupid and no other staff member reacted to it, I reckon they were thinking similarly on the matter. Atleast the suggestion was taken into account.
2. Servers are going down daily due to DDOS, this is not something that can be easily fixed and is something that happen even to the biggest companies. Look at games like League of Legends, they have trouble handling it aswell and they have a much higher budget and are actually paid to fix those issues. No one here is.

Card, although the fight with you I had and all the disagreements, I say you were one of the best to play with on Jailbreak, not just as a friend but as a player. I sure will miss you on Jailbreak and you abusing me on jb too.. I hate to see you go over haters, and I regret hating you too at some point. Please don't make it permanent, if you leave, I'm pretty sure Tony might do as well. Once both of you are gone (if that happens) then those haters will realise what they've lost, I don't want to see you go because JB wont be the same, neither the forums.

I'm not leaving because of "haters" I'm just done dealing with ungrateful peasants and having the staff not getting the appreciation they should have because of a few idiotic people. Tony and I have worked together before and we still do, I don't know if he'd leave because I left but I can assure you there are two other valuable staff members who are just as fed up as I am and will probably be taking their hats off soon if some people here stay as they are. Ambrosia was fun, having to login every day in order to have a laugh is what I remember it, now every time I login I feel disgusted, besides most of us have lost motivation and fed up.

Ezza, I am sorry to break it, you come in with nice words, but you are as much inactive as most Staff atm. I love you and all, but this all goes down to one simple thing. DD2 is at it's worst in these 4-5 years time. Our DD2 once was world 1 rank. Now barely manages. Look at the reasons why it is failing, why are we having so many issues for the last 2-3  month's with the servers. The situation is looking grim and I can't say that the staff have followed that eagerly and tried their best. I really can't.
I can say forums looks neat and all, but is that the priority? It's the servers which are kaput now.

I ain't blaming Card or you or anyone individually. It is more that you guys needed to establish a to do list and have multiple people working on different objects etc. I can see Samuel has lost motivation since a long time. Raven, he hasn't been here for the last 6 months since he started to play League and after we found out his real identity he feels bad because he pretended to be someone else who he isn't? Roni inactive (which we knew about) for the last 3 months. Pim, not that great with these things anyway, he has a bit of knowledge, but not great.

Maki, I don't get the rage quit after being a UC one week, I know you and Roni disliked each other, but both are grown men, should solve the issues and move on.

I still don't get why maki quit he was doing a perfect job on the forums now that card left it's probably over he was one off 3 high staff who is active in the past months Maki was helpful , Card was helpful, Rawrplus too head admins aren't playing so much on their own server and that's what i don't get here i hope the head admins can be a bit more active on the server and controlling players and everything i mean some admins are very inactive and if there are no admins there is no peace every staff member lost motivation by putting that retarded sentence in their head "cs 1.6 is dead" but it's not. My servers that i play on always have over 20 players sometimes i have too wait for players too leave so i could join.

And if you think Ambrosia is dead why are you still here just leave and leave it be instead off being a stupid hater who can't appreciate anything.

I haven't seen Casper in all my time on ambrosia due too his work i saw shark couple off times and i saw all the other emperors a lot of times but Raven became inactive since the past 2 months .

But now that card left i don't know who is going too help the servers established they went down 2 times in the last 3 days for some reason and if tony leaves then we are probably totally screwed because that would mean we lost the Community Leader and the technician who keeps servers from bugs.

I really don't know where Ambrosia is going too end up in the next month but i hope this crisis can be over.

It's not that I've lost motivation, well not gonna lie, I partially did to a sense, but it has much more deeper meaning than just being lazy to do anything orso. I don't wanna make it look like - that I've lost all the motivation and there wasn't anything - in fact, in the past 3-4 months I've been as busy in Ambrosia as ever, working on numerous sorts of projects. The reason why I was so upset differs from something - and I can't say it publicly - regardless, as I said in my post - I need some time to think about everything and make a decision that will be best for myself and maybe  the community.

But if there's one thing, I think it would be unfair to say that I've been inactive or lost my motivation (discounting the last 2 weeks, because I've just been upset, but bar those, I've been as active as ever) - it's just there are some issues that people can't grasp nor comprehend which somewhat has me in doubts and that is why I've been second-guessing myself lately.

I know this post is very cryptic and doesn't provide much insight at all, but for now that's all I'm gonna say...

The be honest what Sami said actually sums up everything nearly around here. Lot of people has complained problems around public and dd2 server. There has not being improvements those servers. I think you should remove those stats in here.
I have said this before..people want lagfree server with basic commands working. /me /top15 /rank

And what comes about card, you have yourself digged your hole. It is not all fault of US "oldies". Your attitude is what it is and your behaviour has led multiple reports.

Well I think ambrosians has again come the point where refreshing staff is inevitable for future. The New beginning or end of the hole community. Without active high staff with Passion nothing can BE done. All yanking about appreaciation is waste of time. People will know IF things are done right and knows how much work that needs to BE done.
