Inspired by header's topic.
I would say this one can be like a full version of what header was saying on his own topic. I will start one by one, what Ambrosia really needs in this moments because it seems like you guys are doing not much.
- [1]. Make the community fully public
I know this might sound like "whut?", by that i mean make all the posts visible to everyone(public). You guys have no idea what traffic you could have lost from search engines such as Google. All those topics that ambrosia has, could have been on google right now, by keeping those to members only, nothing will be indexed. Ambrosia had and is having lots of topics about gaming, giveaways, off topic releated things which could have made a lot of newcomers joining it and talking about those topics. No matter what.
- [2]. Get a sponsor
Everybody has been saying this, i know it might be hard because Ambrosia on a visitor's view is like pirate gaming community because of the non-steam servers. However there are a lot of companies about gaming which are looking for popular communities(in this case Ambrosia). Even if it is not a sponsor you can partner with other gaming releated websites which are popular and you will bring each other a lot traffic.(I can happily find you one if High Staff accepts this suggestion).
- [3]. Update the main-page
On my topic about AmbrosiaExperiments i showed some beautiful designs that Ambrosia can use, obviously they were for testing purposes. As Rawr said about a content that members have interest of re-visiting the main page, might be a news place or whatsoever which i would happy to help you out Rawr for any issue on realising it.
- [4]. Open new gaming servers
Garry's mod or whatever that might bring new players and not just counter-strike players in this community. Such as CS.GO/Gmod and many others which i can't remember because you will not get this community full of counter-strike players, there's no reason of extending to other game-servers then.
- [5]. Make Ambrosia more social and bigger
As it was said before, Twitch and so on, for example DonTodo can be managing it. Try to extend on social parts such as Facebook/Youtube gameplays/Twitch streams/Steam group members to make it bigger and bigger. Ambrosia is a worthy community, make it look like one on the other's eyes.
- [6]. Create a page just for Ambrosia's rewards.
If someone is an oldie here he get's a reward on his statistics or simply reward those who have been helping Ambrosia in the past years/months so they have a reason why to still stay with Ambrosia.
- [7]. Add extra pages for supporting ambrosia
Supporting not in "money" since not everyone has bank accounts but in the meaning of creating a page in ambrosia just for ambrosia wallpapers for your pc desktop / phone background / steam main profile picture. Those arts will advertise ambrosia's website and it's logo. It might gain traffic from this.
I missclicked the "publish" button, so i'll be willing to update this post.
Funny thing is everything, apart from [1] is already in works, but we don't want to overhype something and leave it as unfullfilled promise, that's why we're careful with what we leak and what not. This already is a pretty big leak by my saying this, but yes, all suggestions are valid, we already are aware of these things and are already working on these (although a bit of helping hand never hurts).
