AMBROSIA: AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

NEW IPs OF AMBROSIA SERVERS

AMBROSIANS,

We would like to inform you that we are about to move all our servers to another machine in a completely different datacentre located in Switzerland. I want to keep this short and sweet but it is not a huge mileage away from France where our other dedicated server was located so there shouldn't be a dramatic change in pings for the United Kingdom, more Eastern European countries should also see a lower ping. We weren't happy with our current host and their support so we decided to make the move which is one of the reasons also.

The current IPs will simply be redirected to our new ones very soon. The current IPs will still be online for a couple of months if I stand correct. All the port numbers are the same as they currently are, just another IP.

THE NEW SERVER LIST OF IPs:

DUST2:
46.28.204.131:27000

DEATHMATCH:
46.28.204.131:28000

PUBLIC:
46.28.204.131:29000

JAILBREAK:
46.28.204.131:32000

BASEBUILDER:
46.28.204.131:33000

SURF:
46.28.204.131:30000

ZOMBIE:
46.28.204.131:36000

CLANWAR:
@ PORT 41000

TEAMSPEAK3:
Yet to be completed. Use current one for now.

Once they redirect they will then be the official server from that moment on. Regarding Stats, they will be tracking once again after the server redirects.

Thank you.

Ehm... I doubt if your ping truly changes so much since the diff is barely noticable

Or ofcourse the servers are worse

, but 150 to 300

? Probs not

Gj though, hopefully less problems in the future

my ping was always 5~10, now 20~30, not an big deal

Raven E II R · « **Reply #15 on:** June 17, 2013, 09:57:56 pm »

Some will win some on ping and some will loose some... But I can't see DRAMATIC CATASTROPHIC changes.

Fisu · « **Reply #16 on:** June 17, 2013, 09:59:15 pm »

amx_logic? I live in switzerland, and my ping is 38 43. But when the Server were hosted in UK my ping was 35-36

My life makes no sence anymore

hahaha

UPDATE:

All but DD2 and DM are redirecting to new IPs. DM will be done tomorrow morning ~. NOTE: Steam players will NOT be redirected automatically due to the last Valve update. Please just remove old IPs and add the new ones!
