Fast running is a trick which not many beginners and also pro skilled players know it. He was invented by the players who plays hide and seek . As you can see on the tutorial, with fast running I can run more fast than usual.

You may wonder how this trick helps you, as my friends asked me on the beginning, and then there was no round without use it. As you can see in the guide, if you apply it correctly you win a half second in front of your opponent and this can be decisive sometimes.. Many times when you rush , you get ahead before your opponent do. When you get on the spot before the enemy, you will surprise him, and maybe he will be with a flashbang in his hand or his mind will be somewhere else. The enemy won’t expect that you will reach the place before him.

Always have. Scout is lighter than a knife it's already long proven. Most kz servers give you scout for a reason, don't you think?

For every player, the knife is a melee weapon in the 3rd weapon slot. When held, players are able to run at the fastest speed possible, which is measured at 250 units/second. When equipped with any weapon other than the knife, Pistol, Submachine gun and Scout, you run at a speed slower than 250 units/second, depending on the weapon.

If u go to kz servers, they use scouts for preforming lj/bhop and jumping tasks, max speed with scout is 260 I think. But not many people have mastered it. If you combine knife with bhop (or scout with bhop) you have bigger chances to take the middle initiative of the battlefield. That way you know who has great aiming-sniping skills and who doesn't =D

run with scout is the same with knife so no need to use knife to run

Scout has highest movespeed in game, its 260 units per second unzoomed while knife is 250. Small but noticeable if you run next to someone with it out, all bhoppers know this - its why prize on many bhop maps is a scout lol, makes re-running the map easier.
