The last people to be frustrated is popay. Looking the past few months, most topics bring sadness and regret, not to mention as he puts it "negative" vibe. Popay should be that last human being in ambrosia you to be mad in, If you had fm like before some years, oh boy would you have gotten so mad about them warning you and crying to your hstaff friends to remove them.
Just let the guy breathe, he just wants to lower the rate of chance that a fight will occur in a topic, how mannerable or polite the arguing is.

but wait, there's difference between a fight and a discussion, and the topic didnt include any fights , ezio is right tbh, if all those discussions get closed all the time the forum is actually gonna be boring all you can see is admin applications
imo let people discuss,however if any fights accur it would be the time to interfere and you may lock the topic then, because there's no such thing as "thats enough feedback" people get to have opinions one after another.
Sami or edgars was a pesky strict forum mod, but he is like 1/4 of the fm staff we had before. Take shane for example, even though he wasn't a fm his comments were spot on in every topic with never going either outside of the subject, or leaving just a sneak peak of his opinion with the demandment of him to reply once more. Same as St.George, Rawr+, Stevko, Thend(I mean right now he is not the same thend, but I loved his past one

Most of the staff we had before, were just that good in being precise with their comments without the need for more or less details. Just enough to take the members on their side with full support.
It's funny to me that rawr+ was a forum mod for 1.5(maybe 2.5) years in ambrosia and in those times he was quite dedicated as popay is now. And if he was still a forum mod, he would do as popay right now.
There is a similar behavior people inhibit which is just posting the real story with "crops" of some parts to victimize themselves to acquire whiteknights and milk the value of their support and create a temporary group with a temporary similar target. Then just disband, so people would cry and tell you: You backstabed me.... The best example is the group when tasha overthrow shane, those people were ehmmmm, "something to be reckon with". Now, they are still around but are disbanded and actually quite aggressive towards eachother. Another example is redsnake vs shane incident( it was 50% of members siding with one, and the other 50% with the other).
And that starting to take big thing in CC era, (according to my investigation), that nitpicking as sami calls it. Before this was usually so well handled by forum mods that people just forget about it. Nowadays there is nobody in the staff team(active enough) to just kill it as before and completely annihilate the opinion of those people.
You have to understand that the staff team of ambrosia are up to hear with topics, sure feedback is great and all but with so much quantity it really does kill the mood (talkin from popay's perspective)
Take for example ezza and rawr, ezza was always the last guy to lock a topic until it reached a threshold of "enough feedback" where the same words overlap and don't engage the reader into anything new, just the same thing being said "that way" or "this way". He kinda did that for good 3 years from all 7 staff categories (from member - cs leader),(back then). So rightfully when ezza couldn't rawr did, with almost same result, the PROBLEM WAS FIXED! Not one of the sides with their opinions pulled a trigger in a different topic or in a new one, because it was fuqin CLOSED AND HAD A GOOD RED DOT. But doing that for years and years will start getting a toll, it really does give you more headaches and give you tons of frustrations, and the short solution is just to lock all those topics and make a new announcement with the plans so people can get hyped all again. That's the secret
