Hi there everyone i thought i'd come up with a suggestion on how it would be easier to catch the players that ruin our gaming experience
I suggext that you're using "Bandicam" it will give a much higher resolution and it's so easy to use.
You just put up a frame on the desktop (The size of your monitor screen) make a few adjustments to the video resolution and hotkey's.
For example i use "x" - "z" The "x" is for star/stop recording and "z" for pausing.
So let's make up a little senario :)
There is a player that's using aimbot, you don't have to open console, you don't have to type in anything other then clicking "x" capture the evidence you need and hit "x" again.
The video will be directed to documents (Of course that's your choice), and you can easly upload it to "Mediafire" - "Youtube" or any websites that let you upload files.
I also suggest using VLC when watching the video files.

trust me, a demo can provide enough evidence.. this whole bandicam thing is not easier at all
also, this should not be in the suggestion section should it?
-
It is under Suggestion/Feedback.
Not that familiar with the forums here yet but that seemed like the right place. If not i would appreciate it if someone would move it for me.

haha that's ok buddy, but this section is for server/forums improvement suggestions for posts like this i'd use general chat :)

Yes, you are right, using a screen recording software is easier, but those who have a bad PC will often create a low fps video, and with a low fps video the unban panel cannot make a correct decision. Demo on the other hand requires you to open cs 1.6 and review it, but can be slowed down/speed up + many other things, thus making it easier to make a decision.

You was right to post it here. IT says suggestion and feedback. So it's fine : )
About your suggestion, I suppose it's if admins individually want to do it that way and it provides a good quality demo then fine. I would be interested in some admins trying this to see how easier or more difficult it is. Also the specs on the pc in order to record and play at the same time, for instance i wouldn't be able to do it.

This is a terrible idea..
it will give a much higher resolution and it's so easy to use.
How will it give higher resolution, it's a video file and it's bandicam, bandicam compresses the video alot and worsens the quality than actual gameplay, If you were to record your "demo" at 720p than someone who watches an actual demo file on a 1080p monitor with his game set to 1080p as well will have higher resolution..
What I'm trying to say here is the video file resolution will be the limited to the recorders game resolution, in the case of 1.6 most likely a 4:3 resolution cause many people play CS with 1280x960,1024x768 etc.
Recording a demo file will let the person watch in whatever resolution they want.
Also Bandicam is not completely free, you can use it for free and record any length videos without limitations but you are left with the watermark on the top of the screen, and you never know behind that watermark something could be happening in the game which can be a clue for demos that are hard to read.
Video will be recorded at 30fps or 60fps, which means you won't be able to watch a smooth slowmotion of something important ingame, with a demo file you can watch a slowmotion of something upto a 1000FPS (no you don't need a powerful PC for it, 1000FPS in a demo file in slowmotion can be achieved with a toaster).
The only "good" thing in recording a video file instead of a demo file I'd say is the PAUSE feature while recording and the filesize.
I don't know if you can pause a demo while recording it and resume it later, can someone confirm?

Good suggestion. But maybe it would be time consuming.

Yes you Can,it"s a feature in almost in any other recording programs.

i have tested this feature and done so much demos/videos and works fine, and if you have bad pc you can adjust it the way it suits your specs.
As Frendy suggested before, this would be cool to record cheaters.
