Title: About what's happening recently...
Post by: Bess on May 14, 2016, 10:43:54 pm
I felt like someone had to do this, but no one did it. So I thought I'd give it a go.
I've said it twice in spam topics, and I'll say it again. Why the heck are people allowed to post some dumb topics (for instance '[this guy] for fm' and all similar bullshit), and when me, and many other people out there are afraid to make proper posts because of getting warned? What's happening?
"You don't get sarcasm, HA-HA KID!" "Wow this kid mad lmao" No one made a goddamn topic like this to wake up the staff and alert them that there is bullshit flowing around in our forum, and I'm here doing one! For example: What the hell is that Drama board? Are you fucking dumb? In one side, we have mature guys speaking formal English and being mature, while in the other hand... Oh boy you don't wanna know. The Forum Moderators are just favoring their friends, and you can't deny that. Let's take Theend for example. Go to his profile and check his posts. Where do you find a proper non-spam post? Please tell me if you find any. Then, we got the Forum Moderators as examples themselves, who DESPERATELY post just to raise their post count (for example the drama topic in the old forum; topic was locked, and one of the FMs replied saying ''oh i missed this'' and the staff kept replying until another page got added to the topic WHILE BEING LOCKED). Also, a couple of months ago, I had a little problem with Refresh (it's solved btw), I kept replying explaining my point of view, sitting on my chair for half an hour straight and writing a post, and when I check an hour later, the post is not there! It just got deleted. "Why?" You'll ask, well, apparently I "SPAMMED" with my reply explaining him what he did wrong, and he didnt spam while doing the same. WHERE'S THE LOGIC HERE?
To be honest, this is just straight up bullshit. I know there will be people making fun of me after I posted this topic, but yeah, before you do that, try to act a bit more mature and spam less, then I'll consider you ;)

And talking about spam, you reply with spam.
And you're Forum Moderator, you're the one who should get rid of spam, not make more.

EDIT: This explains how pathetic you are. Spams again, I reply, and you delete both replies. I wonder how you're a FM :)
And someone please move it back to Ambrosia Discussions, because this guy thinks he's funny by putting it to this dumb board.

Okay, this gave me a solid laugh to be entirely honest, but truth be told, it was kind of a dick move. :D

I'm pretty sure he was being serious with his report.

Insults and provocative replies aren't considered posts therefore they should be deleted.
I'm growing tired of people calling "spam" everytime we post.
How about you start being useful and post something meaningful instead of judging what others are posting for their own fun.
We're here to have fun, we're not waiting for people to tell us how to post and how long the reply should be so he likes it.

EDIT: Now i expect the guy who will post after me will ignore everything i said and will agree with bess saying yes you're right, there should be a rule against spam and put minimum number of characters.. Typical...

Totally right. All I can see is people just posting "meme" images. There should be a minimum character limit on posts and rules should apply to all without rank/status/gender - you name all  ::)

Oh, so you're having fun? Then why do I and some other specific people get warned when WE'RE having fun?
And also, spam posts shouldn't be deleted? People who post spam shouldn't be warned? Also, about you telling me to be useful, (sorry if this sounds a bit harsh) but I tried to be as useful as I could, unlike 90% of your and some specific people's posts ;)

Really dude? Should I seriously start warning you again for your pointless posts and topics? There is no favoritisim or whatsoever. Eros has told us to adapt a different mentality and to be more lenient regarding spam but I'm ready to make an exception regarding your case. Your topic is just some pure spam to be honest since it has no purpose.

If you want to make a suggestion then go to the suggestions corner and we'll make sure to review your suggestion with the rest of the team (a suggestion about the problem that you are dramatising about in your topic?). If you have a problem with any staff member then feel free to report the concerned staff member and I'll make sure to reply to you with a more serious reply if the report concerns me but as long as you don't make an useful topic, your non-sense drama topics will be moved to the Drama Corner.

I post depending on the seriousness of the topic. There are sections in the forums where i do not spam at all. Go find a news and announcements post or admin app post where i spam?
When you get warned, you're actually breaching the rules of not just the topic, the rules of the board too.
You're saying "you and your friends" spam the forums, by that you said you mean "Ray, Refresh, ocelvon, PL, thEnd,..."
Do you really think forums would be any fun if we stop posting? Do you know what's really annoying? You reporting all posts in 1 day.
I get notifications on my cell every single time you report a post, just chill dude, it's a freaking gaming community. This is no politics.

Haha, so my topic is now pointless. Then what's 90% of your posts like, Refresh? There's no favoritism? LOL BULLSHIT. There is favoritism, you're just not conscious about it.
And also, you're telling me that I'm the one who you'll make an exception as far as warnings go? So I spam more than theend, Kolos and you yourself? LOL.

I do get your point Ray, but it's really unfair when I spam just like you guys and I'm the one getting warned, apart from 10 different people. This actually happened in the old forum, where in a spam topic, I replied and I got warned and nobody else did, while it was a SPAM TOPIC.

How can you defend someone saying people get warned unfairly while you never got warned for spamming. You got warned twice for insulting. So you don't know what he's talking about.
You're just thrilled he's talking about a FM you dislike.

They do probably spam but not at the same level as you. You know, spam is like drama. There is good spam and bad spam like there is good drama and bad drama. Their posts are HQ most of the time, do make sense, are entertaining and are part of the discussion held in the topic so they can be considered as GOOD SPAM. However, your posts are either just some pure drama like this one or just some totally unnecessary spam and can therefore be consdered as BAD SPAM (example of some of your deleted posts : "lol", "omg so much spam, let me spam too", ...)

Of course not all of your posts are bad spam but unfortunately, most of them are. In general, all of your posts are just the reflection of your personality since you are seeking for attention in all of them (with no exception).

You're just thrilled he's talking about a FM you dislike.

1. It has got nothing to do with who I like or not.
2. I can't say anything about being warned unfairly as I don't know much about it - haven't referred to that at all in my post.
3. He is totally right about people spamming like mad (refer to my post). Is he not!

Did you just label 'spam'? HAHAHAHAHA. Everyone's post do make sense, what are you talking about?
Nothing wrong in what he said. It's always been FM's job to judge whether the post is useless or not.

Let's take an example shall we? Teekay mocking Eros on a topic and saying his announcement sucks. That's spam indeed. But it's on-topic and it's got humor. It's not worth a warn.
another example, you post something off-topic while people talking about something else. That's worth a warn because you could have posted it in another topic.

Now please show us YOUR examples where you got warned unfairly because you keep saying you're getting warned unfairly and you're not letting us explain to you why you got warned.
You will say "it's been a while" and "it's 12:30 AM" and "it's so long ago mannn" So my question to come is: Why did you wait "so long" to report us for warning you unfairly?
Why didn't you complain the second you saw the warning unless you thought Refresh is right by warning you?
Why did you wait so long so that you wouldn't have to look at the topic anymore or wait for refresh or i to forget what you posted so you could have what you wanted here and just get us to say you're right?
If you get warned, complain. It's your natural right to complain about what we do against you. But there are certain things required when you complain.

1st. Proof that what you're saying is right.
2nd. Don't make the thing you're reporting against date longer than a week.
3rd. Don't speak non-sense.

The way I see it, no one can post a complaint anymore if it's gonna be considered "Drama"

Bs...

I totally agree with Bess

This isn't a complaint since it was posted in the discussions corner and would have therefore led to drama. That's why I moved it to the Drama Corner directly.

He clearly made a topic to clarify himself, not you to move topics.

When it comes to topics being exposed to dramatic replies and fights are breaking out all over the place, we hold the right to move topics in question here in order to contain the outbreak.
And he didnt even have 1 single reply before this post being moved.

and according to paragraph 4 line 1 of "Drama Posting Guidelines"

Spoiler (hover to show)

EDIT: @ReFresh your reply led to drama, so, instead, split topic and move ur reply to drama corner.
And a post that isnt complaint, isnt a drama neither. U cant predict if its gonna have drama or not, unless you create it.

Let me get this straigh. Yiu are annoyed how you was treated in eu and you make a topic to complain about that? Now hold on a sec, we are no longer in eu and there is new management, new mentality. Have your replies been deleted here? No, no ones has except i deleted refreshes post in dev board.

This board btw gives you protection against us as we will not lock/delete replies unless absolutely necessary, so you might think its a joke board, but trust me, the moment a seriius topic is here, it is treated just the same as if it was a report, serious issue.

Its hard for me to understand where you are coming from as i said new mentality. You see people posting shit, well is there anything better to do, while everyone is waiting for servers to be up? We have become lenient, but you have brought the mentality of old ambrosia here, this is exact reason why it is in drama corner. Next time, you have concerns come talk to me when im om ts3 it will leave out unnecessary hate and we can then see what is the problem by talking about it.

It has been difficult to write it as im on my phone, but i will respond more in depth when i am home.

P.S Yeah, pointing out spam and asking y'all to calm down in an indirect way, leads to getting attacked. This is what Ambrosia has come to, damn I miss 2014. @Ray I complained earlier as well, but mister Refresh kept removing my posts and warning me ;)

Perhaps it wouldn't have lead to Drama if you didn't move it to Drama corner, besides it's true forum is full of spamming and bs especially this drama  board, it's bs, but I ain't saying it's moderators, everyone is spamming now, and posting bs, did I just go off-topic I don't even know anymore, who cares
Let me try to understand what you're complaining against...
Let's make a list shall we?

So bess wants "Ray, Refresh, thEnd, Ocelvon, kolos" to be warned...
Sycho wants "Less posts and removal of drama corner"
I never understood what vendetta ever wanted...

Who else needs something? we'll just forward them to the fairy godmother!
Srsly sometimes i think people complain for the sake of it not for a real purpose.
Do you expect everyone to stop posting just because you asked them to? They're having fun and yes it is fun if you don't look at it as "SPAM"
At some point you'll have to stop looking at everything the bad way and start finding some fun ffs

Bess is just butt-hurt that pl favours me over him hahaha

Anyhow post count is off, some people will go shitposting for a few days, but hey, forums are alive! We have 20-30 people who actually are on forums and make them alive.

You prolly were not around 2012. Ambro was so busy back then, forums were active and you always were able to jump in some discussions or banter for chill.

And thats what gamer community are. Most of us are just gamer geeks. Look r+ and eros. They love gaming, they do tl;dr posts, but with all their passion towards community. Then look on ray and refreshica, they are one of most funniest here (no offence :P ), they do short, funny replies. Then look me and ramba, we do short, bitchy replies by roasting qq people like you, then you have replica who mostly speaks chinese as i hardly can understand what he is saying ;D And all the others I havent mentioned. Aw those two - silex and goldslow haha their posts are so mandatory but yet they are the ones who greet new people and remind them rules ;D

We all are different, but yet we love gaming and we love ambrosia. So if you think you are the only right mr spam fighter, think again.

But there is nothing wrong with shitposting and spamming here, what occur in the past due to different systematical perception on provocative and opinionated replies. If the complaint is entirely objective or there is some kind of evidence to decisively prove ones disagreement with something happening under control of the hierarchical archetype. One example I can present is how community staff endorsed positions considered every complaint as drama and even a period where there were none complaints because those positions inflicted state of  controlfreak attitude in which any complaint or criticism-worthy accusation automatically was treated drama and nonsensical and whatnot. Reason is because the head forum moderator of the time due to his allocation of thought-process had a very trigger-happy finger to warn almost anyone if they were criticizing something, and with that the other forum moderators had to adjust and enforce his politics.

My 2 cents on this: There should be clarification and very subliminal tangent when moving such "drama provocative" threads when the messages are hitting a stalemate into the discussion or the structuring of said threads is vastly non centered on the objective problem. So refresh had a good joke with that reply, but honestly he should have let the original place where that thread was posted to stay for couple of days and him or ray explain to bees about the logic or means of the drama corner. If not, sami could have came and try his justification

Me, thend, and ramba are not that new to this since we've been doing similar stuff for years , and that is the category of oldie chatter and banter. And I personally don't advocate spamming the drama corner, but i'm just pretty bored when there is nothing entertaining to see :(

I think he cracked the Da'Vinci code, finally after all those years.

Regardless, I think it's important to discuss, the concept of Drama Corner is uninhibitedly flawed. Because automatically any form of critique can be labeled as  Drama automatically discrediting any value the topic may have originally had. If anything, topics should be archived to Drama Corner, but it should not be a discussion board where people are genuinely ridiculed for having an indifferent opinion.. It is unhealthy to any form of meaningful discussion and actually in the end ends up with even more censorship by every  "drama-implicating"  topic being instantly garbaged and the poster ridiculed. Kind of find it funny how everyone complained about it in old Ambrosia and the "freedom of speech"  yet sheeple are gullible enough to not see this. I think Drama Corner is an alright idea not a fan of it, but if you want to showcase petty fights, then I mean sure, do what you want, but the implementation was bad at the rule about 'dank memes' literally degrades any argumentative topic into a shitposts, discouraging author from any future arguments and automatically burying any form of meaningful discussion.

I don't think you quite understand the implication. This way, literally any form of argumentative topic can be labeled as drama-fueling, denying any potential meaningful discussion and automatically degrading it into a shitpost. This way, you literally wouldn't be able to post anything as it's up to individual identification of people whether your post will stay, no matter what the quality or content of your argument is.  I understand the idea behind it, but sadly, it is dysfunctional and it literally took less than a day to expose more than a few flaws with having a corner like that.

I mean, imagine if I moved 90% of your topics in old forums to general off-topic because I'd label them as drama-inciting and people would start posting dank memes on them and go completely off-topic. I'd probably get my ear full of another freedom of speech rant and I'm pretty sure you'd feel pretty unfairly judged as well, but that's what the implication behind current rules of labeling things as Drama is.

This topic included, Bes may not have the best English, but he meant to have a serious discussion regardless of the quality of his post, I'm pretty sure if it was simply moved to Drama Corner, we'd see some mocking, some shitposts (which we've seen here anyways)  and he'd never get a proper answer.

Why not?

Look, if bes would formulate bit more clearly towards whom is his complaint as it was generally regarding spamming. So is he blaming me, replica or fms? All of us? Then what he suggests or what he asks generally speaking?

I don't think it was quite right to move thread to shitland, however escalation turns that here hardly I can see any meaningful outcome..

I used Bes's (this) topic as an example / plot-vehicle to drive the point home, my point was much more focused about the way Drama section works altogether.

This ''drama board'' is just bs imo, if it's meant for fun then it should be on forum games and discussion or what ever it was named before.
Also I've never seen a GOOD drama in my entire life LOL, drama basically is a bad shit that happens.
I dunno what really happening but transfering Bess's topic directly is a bit savage. I suggest you to fix this prob on ts3 and lock this topic before it turns to a 10page topic.

I very recently explained why I find this board stupid and that every time a Staff member thinks something is "drama" he will move topics here from his own subjective point of view, but I was mocked. Well, I won't be surprised even if I see serious reports moved to drama because "why not".

Also I've never seen a GOOD drama in my entire life LOL, drama basically is a bad shit that happens.

Good drama exists in the form of healthy not-over-the-top range of events that immerse two opposing parties to acquire a more positive state of understanding in agreeing or disagreeing. Sadly ambrosia never had the fair share of good drama because of how one party victimizes itself or engage in use of pictures and snarky chatter to present their point of view that enter subjective levels in which the main purpose is to attract or market their point of view to unrelated people. To add on what I said, the reminiscent conflict lies in the ideology of a disagreement or objective critic. Simply said the automatic disclosure of any disagreement was considered drama, because of the word and term that mostly every ambrosian staff used was in the wrong context, that is the prologue of a drama when the unfolding replies begin entering personal and opinionated zone which do not contribute anything new and useful to the disagreement. Rhetoric and Debate ultimately cease to exist when one of the party use tools outside that objective scope to prove their point, and that happened almost everytime a report was made.

I personally had my fair share of being unprofessional in drama some couple of months when a good friend of mine backstabbed me for favor of keeping his position and behind the scene coalition because I keep past records and notion of said people in the coalition. And if I enacted on reciprocity, I had to expose every single one of them for the true image of past, but I didn't which meant that I didn't fueled any drama.

Other then that, I have never left my league to insult or flame or criticize someone on my portfolio using opinions instead of objective thought-process. Could be wrong, unfortunately it never occur to me that I've regretted something in a complaint or report I've made. It's still up to debate by case by case like every member here.

Because I don't know what is the plan behind this board, I suppose any thread in which the two or more parties have reached the peak of the disagreement or agreement following up with very irrelevant chatter about his/her opinions and point out to logic will have that same thread end up here in which that conversation is not going anywhere, I think @Red Wolf or someone else suggested to split the topic and move those replies or comments here while keeping the original thread where it was but locked. That way, everyone will judge the disagreement in the locked thread objectively but can leave their 2 cents in the thread in the drama board. If you think about it, it's even horrible for the forum moderators because they have to analyze every reply/thread very carefully to completely understand the meaning (or metaphorical, if there is one) which has to be 90% accurate to fairly decide what borders the objective from the subjective and vice a verse.

There are some points people just cant understand very well

firstly the new management, specialy as a moderator, In eu fm team werent as strict as they should be, when this move came, FM team has no time to argue about something with "No Purpose" . If you are complaining about something just because you dont like it, then expect your topic to be moved to drama corner, because that how it is in .com . there are more important stuff that high staff should waste there time on

Secondly the drama corner is still quite mysterious and even the high staff thenselfes might well very soon keep changing the rules of this board as its just new and needs time to figure out how it should really work.
Is it similer to off topic? Is it a place to archive or trash? Is it a place to create compliments ? or jockes ? or what?

Yeah, bitching about fms. It's like bois finally have found a corner where they can bitch about people. Haha somehow even despite the fact that no one was perfect at eu, we kept it low as reporting and bitching would lead to nothing.

And guess fucking what?!

Without a single report or qq post ambrosia has finally staff that in my eyes are capible of dealing with shitstorms and meanwhile having some fun.

And you spam fighters , you really think it's post count that would dedicate how much of ambrosian you are?! Think again monks..

Why lock? Because it's a kind of a report and must be taken seriously, some people are just mocking because Bess made this topic, if it was an ''oldies'' as some call them selfs then it'd have been considered. Seriously just let the staff take in charge stuff like that.
Pl: if you can provide me by pm a definition of good drama or a trusted source that explains it, I'd appreciate it.

Pl: if you can provide me by pm a definition of good drama or a trusted source that explains it, I'd appreciate it.

Did you even read his topic? Did you even understand his message? He isn't reporting anything since this wasn't posted in the report section nor in the suggestions/feedback section.

He basically posted this topic in the Ambrosian discussions board. If his intentions made sense and his message was well formulated, then I would have kept it in that board since I would have been pretty sure that his post would have not created any drama. However, most of his sentences are provocations and in order to give some strength to his message, he took the decision to use tons of inappropriate words just to show a bit of dominance and that's why I took the decision to move it directly to the Drama Corner since I know, by experience, that this kind of topics end up causing drama and are locked when the drama reaches a certain point. And trust me, as long as I'm/we are here, this kind of posts will be directly moved to this corner whether its poster agrees or not. And @Rawrplus, this may seem a bit harsh but at least, if the posters get ridiculed by dank memes or whatsoever, they will make an effort the next time they express themselves in this forum and will avoid creating unnecessary drama topics like this one in the future so it's somehow a better system than warnings and mutes (even if it has its negative side effects).

So let's keep going on. He also brought some past issues that happened ages ago in order to prove a point that doesn't make sense anymore (seriously, are we really being unfair?) but if you really want me to let you know what happened then I'll explain if that's really what you want. So, this guy that you are defending so hard basically made a suggestion in the JB corner to give FDs after a prisoner wins a LR (WHICH WAS ALREADY WRITTEN IN THE RULES). But the thing is that he made this suggestion only because he was given a FD during a general FD (because of Jake, but I'll explain later) and he wanted an other FD the round after. Basically, he won LR the round before Jake joined the server. When Jake joined the server, he went directly to the CT team since I was alone and he started a FD for all (yeah, when someone goes to the CT team, it's always a FD for all apparently) so his personal FD was somehow unnecessary since everyone had a FD. However, I still gave him a personal FD and gave him the opportunity to keep it after 4:00, but despite of this, he took the decision to go to the gunroom and to get himself killed AND in addition to that, he wanted a FD the round after for NO REASON, only because he wanted to be the special snowflake in the server for 1 round but since everyone had a FD, his wish wasn't granted and therefore, he was butthurt and took the decision to start drama in the JB suggestions topic.  But I didn't remove his freedom of speech of course. I gave him the permission to discuss about it in the JB suggestions topic, but the discussion led to a point in which it didn't make sense anymore to keep arguing about something that didn't make sense since the start. So I just told him to stop arguing and to wait for Popay but he kept arguing (butthurts are stubborn) and that's why I deleted the replies that he made after my "don't post and wait for Popay" post.

However, this happened in .eu like in NOVEMBER? So seriously, do you really believe that his topic makes sense only because he brought a past issue that wasn't even caused by my side but by himself, only because he took the decision to start drama about something that isn't that much important after all and that wasn't even caused by my side?

Instead of defending him without even understanding his message nor his intentions, how about you just skip this message and show your uselessness somewhere else?

The thing is that he still doesn't understand what's happening around here. In .eu we used to be more strict because as @'PL' said, the Head Forum Moderator (HFM) was strict and imposed us somehow his mentality (not consciously of course but well). However, now the HFM left and we are technically the ones who are responsible for our actions since no other staff member has the "right" to moderate the whole forum a part from us and management in case you didn't know (some have the power but not the right), so instead of keeping the same mentality than in .eu, @Eros wants us to be more lenient so we don't take all the hate by people like you who don't simply understand what's going on and take the decision to defend people without even understanding what they are saying.

last i remember was a leaving post from Kolos. ppl trolling him and messing non stop, flooding it with useless spam. after he replied he was not leaving, FM instead of lock the topic, were spamming more  bs there. even i replied something like "instead of spam more this useless topic, u could lock and move it", quoting a FM reply (dont remember who was the FM, and topic is lost due to database move i guess)

This was in .eu and we were already aware that all the topics and posts made after March wouldn't be kept so we just let it be.

And if you have a problem with any of the current staff members (FM, etc.) then feel free to report them in the Staff Corner because supporting drama topics like this one won't lead you anywhere.

Oh, because you'd rather want us to lock/trash/delete any topic that is just some pure non-sense drama like we used to do in the past? Let me keep you in mind that I have already expressed myself in a much better way than Bess regarding some flaws in the past (like in October 2015?) and my topics have always ended up being trashed (examples : my topic about black star's CT ban, my "drama" topic about RoN and Popay that wasn't even 30% as dramatic as this one).

If you still believe that this topic has its place in the discussions corner then could you please explain why my topics have always ended up being trashed despite the fact that I have taken ages to make them in order to avoid any conflict?

You already know that this topic would have been trashed ages ago if we kept the same system as in .eu so instead of criticising this system only because it has some flaws that are not even comparable to the flaws that the old system had, how about you open your eyes and rather judge this system for its whole particularities and not only for its negative oens? At least you are granted a freedom of speech that was most of the time an illusion in .eu even if of course, you are still being judged and criticised by others in public since the freedom of speech is not an illusion anymore (dank memes, random shit posts, etc.).

But yeah, I haven't moved this topic only to venge myself because of what happened in the past. I have already given all of the reasons in my previous posts so instead of trying to defend this shitpost that doesn't make sense at all after all, how about you read all of the previous posts (including mine) and try to contradict the arguments that were provided within them?

Rawr i guess the only people who would have trashed it at .eu were the FM themselves. Anyway i kinda agree with Sycho on this topic, it never really got the chance for discussion before it was moved to drama which obviously leads to the point that Samuel has highlighted about. I personally see the majority of topics will be moved here in they were not given a chance to discuss.

I think you're under illusion that people here are for your heads, when literally the only point we're trying to get accross is how the system behind Drama Corner is a stupid idea lol.

You didn't understand what I meant right? This may be an illusion in your eyes since but I can assure you that this will happen if we keep the same mentality as in .eu since we are technically the only ones who will punish (warn/moderate/mute/bans) members when it's necessary. If we kept the same mentality as in .eu, lots of members would be warned on a regular basis and since we are the only ones who have the right to punish members (except from Management that will interfere in more important situations) then we are more likely to get all the hate and all the drama. That's why @Eros wants us to adapt a different mentality in order to avoid punishing members on a regular basis and he wants an alternative way to the classic punishment ways. Now, we could let people do whatever they want but do you really believe that this would be a good decision to let people trashtalk and create drama about anything they want? You already know that this would be a ridiculous decision and in order to avoid punishing the concerned members for creating some unnecessary non-sense drama topics like this one, the Management (*cough* @Eros *cough*) has taken the decision to create the Drama Corner in order to intimidate its posters by the rest of the members who will come and post their opinion or dank meme. But keep in mind that I have never agreed with this system and that I'm only following the protocols that were established by the Management so if you want a more appropriate answer, then wait for @Eros since he was the one who created this corner and this topic (http://ambrosia-servers.com/community/index.php?topic=35193.0) that nobody has read apparently. I'm not the one who created this system so there is no reason to blame me for doing what the Management wants us to do.

And don't tell me that issuing a warning doesn't cause some kind of hate because this has been perfectly demonstrated in this topic, in the "Ambrosians" topic made by RoN when I warned Cocainee for insulting Ray and me, and this has also been showed by Razzi when I warned him after I deleted his spam post ("u") for the 3rd time in the jokes topic. So yeah, I'm not saying that we are getting all the drama/hate or whatsoever but if you would analyse the situation aptly, then you would understand that we are somehow more likely to be hated and to get the drama than in the "past".

Be honest about the entirety of 2015 when you had hydra community and the first signs from other people than thend questioning emperor team. I was maybe for 4-5 months forum moderator and I noticed some shady trashed topics for very unclear reasons.

This ^. Also how do you explain that my topics have been trashed while they weren't even 30% as dramatic as this one and my arguments did make sense contrary to these ones? Only because I took the decision to open my mouth about some previous staff members (Popay and RoN) without provoking them or providing some non-sense arguments? They still took it in a negative way but I didn't offend them because I provoked them but because of the nature of the topic (was criticising some of their actions but I already know that I should have kept my mouth closed). But anyway how is this topic better, seriously?

And no @Ezzαღ , it wasn't necessarily the FMs who used to trash these topics but specially the ex UCs and the ex CL so there is no need to blame "us" only (wasn't FM at that time but well). I would have never moved this topic to the trash/drama corner if it didn't contain any provocation at all and if the arguments did make sense. However, this wasn't unfortunately the case and therefore, I moved it to this corner.

Okay first things first, I personally never trashed any serious topic, be it theEnd or whatever. Literally only serious topic I've removed was Roni's/Sami's topic and even that was because I wanted to solve the argument privately and not start any new flame-wars. And even that I talked through with them and later apologized for.  But apart from that, I ltierally left all discussion out there, no matter how hard people complained.

Also, Spaff and me were joking so I'm not sure what you are even talking about :D

About gumball and puto, I'm not sure how about you but I don't think posts like " fuck you all, i'm leaving fuck off bye, get cancer"  really contribute much to the discussion. Therefore, they were trashed. To me, it almost looks like you're implying we shouldn't have trashed anything altogether, which kind of defeats the purpose of forum moderation as in whole.

I don't know about the rest of moderation team, obviously you can't be responsible for everyone, but I can tell you noone was instructed to remove anything  I for one personally never removed any serious discussion from Ambrosia. I can't say with guarantee nobody from moderation team didn't, but if they did, they shouldn't have.  So yes, I might be biased, but to me your point seems invalid. It is true, some UCS, CLs were probably trashing topics maybe a bit too harshly, but to me it seems like an unfair generalization.

And @ReFresh I understand, but once again I'm repeating, I'm not blaming you for doing it. I completely understand that you're just following instructions, afterall that's what you were instructed to do in old Ambrosia as well, I think it's up to debate, whether the old warning system is better than this form of topc degrading in form of drama corner, to me the latter option actually seems more harmful. Either way, some members are bound to get angry, but I'd rather have some kids with their jimmies rustled, than having entire valid topics classified as drama. Once again, I'm not blaming anyone specifically from staff team, all I'm saying is, I don't think moving topics like this to Drama Corner is a good idea.

refresh, i agree with u about cannot allow spam as used to be in .eu forum, that is pretty obvious

but cannot agree in trash (or move to drama section) every critic topic, whenever it starts to be spammed, or u should move almost every  single topic

Bess´ topic could fit perfectly in Ambrosia Discussion, or u could move it to Staff Complain board or Suggestion section, as u mentioned. if u see ppl are spamming in this topic, then warn them. but topic started with respect, and in good manners

and same as R+, im not blaming any of you. but yes who created this "drama  board"......  ::)

Just wait for @Eros to be online and to check this topic because I have no clue what to do/say to be honest. All I can say is that he has asked us to be more lenient regarding spam and topics like this one but I'm not even sure if the Drama Section is official or if it's still in a beta status.

Bess' topic would have perfectly fit in the Ambrosian Discussions Corner if he would have avoided using inappropriate words, provoking people and if he would have of course not given random non-sense arguments and examples in his non-sense topic like the one stating that I deleted his replies in the JB suggestions topic while it was a totally unnecessary example in the topic since I didn't delete his posts because they were spam (argument that he is apparently defending in his non-sense topic) but because I asked him to stop arguing in that topic and to wait for Popay to answer.

all serios topics and compliments usually have drama , and thats something we have no control over, people with different point of views and  opinions will always keep arguing and dramatizing their points to prove them right. Drama will evantually happen whether we say yes or no for it.
And if every post will have drama  (which is a very common thing to happen in ambrosia) will be moved to drama board , then we will have no posts to discuss outside this board and everything serious will be only found here...
I suggest turning this into a chill board , and move it inside general off topic. this well make more sense , since people somehow cannot differentiate between drama and long serious arguments such as whats happening in here!

Since bess haven't gave any reply, this isn't a serious report  :-\

This is another banter, who cares is it called drama or chill?!

Hello there,

Lets get few things straight.

Who made the Drama Corner? - I did.
Who wrote the Drama Corner Guidelines? - Mostly Tony and small edit by me.
I will be making an extra topic in this board to explain few things as I realize that people are confused.

The reason this board is here, is to not spam the rest of the forum with fights, hence why it is all moved here and it can continue here. We contain it here.
Yes it is named a Drama Corner and as I can see some people have already gone a bit over the extreme, one of the extreme topic I had to delete by Ray.
One very and extremely crucial part you are missing and surely did not understand it from the sticky topic in this board. No topics will be locked by Moderators or Management in this board. I was tempted to lock this topic yesterday and today. I did lock it, but then unlocked immediately as I made this rule and I am sticking by it. You are protected from moderation here unless it breaches our official forum rules. This is one way of letting you express your frustrations and anger etc. As some have said that this board is demeaning, in a way I can understand why it would seem so, but if you take into account what I just said, then you are looking at completely new ball game. We are gamers and it is only fair that we give people the chance to talk. You know what is worst? You complain that it is in Drama section, but to be fair, if it was anywhere else, you would still get all those replies just the same, saying "drama" etc.

Does Ray and Refresh have immunity? - No. They would get forum warning or removal from Moderator team if they made this place unbearable by their actions.
Did Bess topic deserved to be moved to Drama Corner? - Absolutely yes!

Bess, you seem to have ignored my response and just continued more about the "spam"... Moderators have already made that point clear that we are more lenient on spam posts, but then again everything seems to be categorized as spam these days. I see funny posts, sarcasm etc. That is what exactly gamers do. If you was warned/moderated, your replies deleted in .EU, (I am going to be rude here) - Why the fuck are you here talking about EU when we are in COM with new thinking/mentality, new management and revamped Ambrosia? I apologize for my rudeness, but this is the main reason this topic was never in any place to be put. To be fair, you complained about this, because you see a lot of people shitposting here. http://ambrosia-servers.com/community/index.php?action=profile;area=showposts;u=7751 I am going through your posts and 10% of all the posts you've made are actually useful. I am not attacking you, but I believe you are out of order to tell someone else off, when you claim that all your posts are meaningful when they clearly are not. I don't like liars and I don't like BS. You seem to be mistreated badly, hey I get that, I am sorry that you have been mistreated in .EU. But please for love of the god, don't bring old stuff which we are over and done with.

Next time make a Staff complaint if you don't want this to go to Drama Corner, just saying.

I will explain at a later point the Drama Corner's functions.

I don't think there can be any exact standards on when a topic is totally drama, High Staff will keep moving topics based on their personal judgement which is subjective of course.  Long story short, I find this board useless, and even if, as @ReFresh stated, this could prevent topics being locked and trashed and be moved here, this won't change much as they will still be under the impression of something dramatic = useless that should've just been trashed.

Long story short, remove the board and stop naming everything "drama".

We have a topic where we all can bitch about things we don't like.

Like you bess, you bitched about us "the alleged spamers". I have to agree with Eros, however not me and not any other accused spamer have highlighted your usuless topics :) we are cool with that ;)

Some other guys, you bitched here that you don't think it's the right way how to end up discussions.

Me and a few others bitched about you monks.. Why the hell you don't wanna topic, post count free where you can bitch about someone (in a friendly manner) and just to avoid the casualties, name it drama and move on?!

Why bitch about something that have been invented based on mistakes that have learnt from old ambrosia?!

Why don't we make a vote? @Eros , start a vote saying whether we keep this topic or not, then everyone can realise the truth about it. People will just argue about it and no one accepts to the other's opinion.
