There are no plans from our side to do this.
But people set up private ones all the time so you could ask to join.

Will u make a csgo surf server with !rank !exp !knife etc ( with bhop )Already in progress, it's been a pain in the arse to get a hold of a decent working plugin due to the best available plugin creator rage quitting off of Allied Modders and deleting his download links everywhere, but I've managed to stumble across an updated version of his plugin and so we should be set to work and do some testing on that today :)
What then if a wanna-be thug kid is going to come and DDoS ambrosia's dedibox? What kinda protection do you guys have? Are you guys using a ddos protected proxy, or does your host have DDoS protected firewall, example. CISCO etc.

CSGO bhop is horrible... That speed is atrocious unless you use a jump modifier in the server, which by itself can't use script detection as it will conflict with the other plugin. I couldn't find a plug for it too, thinking kz and bhop use the same thing.
Zombie escape is nice.
But for Minigames I couldn't find a plugin

Why do you guys still go "We are hoping to extand our CS 1.6 servers and we are slowly moving into CS:GO"? Why don't you just move to CS:GO? Majority of CS:GO players in our DM and 1v1 server make it x3 the number of the CS 1.6 players on the 5 servers. So what, please don't tell me "CS:GO is Steam only" because I'm sure the community will be 1 of the biggest UK ones in the CS:GO sceneWhy would we remove something which has players (no matter how little) when it doesn't affect the performance of our dedi? We can still expand to more csgo servers without the need to remove them.

Considering the fact of casper buying ambrosia for about 2000 Euros, and since then the value of the community risen for about 500 euros. But seeing the hostility between Rawr and Thend, the value will rise up even more... So following a business pattern, thend would go bankrupt if he wants to waste so much money on this community.
And yes, raven and rawrplus gave oaths if thend is to buy ambrosia, they will leave. Casper will automatically leave because he has nothing that is keeping him here(Following the same pattern as piranchas)

It is true theEnd at one point was interested in buying Ambrosia, however the transaction never went through. I originally did not have against anything with theEnd being involved (I used to be in good terms with him until spawn of hydra) - so the rumors about oaths or anything are not true. I developed a pretty nice working friendly relationship not only with Raven but also rest of the highstaff team, so if we ever were to be divided due to ownership shenanigans, I'd take my leave. What keeps me hear is passion for the community and friends, not money - I get literally 0 income from Ambrosia, even for stuff like working on websites et cetera, where people would charge least 50 EUR plus. My issue would not be about him being specifically being the owner but if he wanted to demote anybody from current highstaff group.
Obviously nowadays I would be against that, due to personal reasons and if such day ever came, I'd be the first one to take my leave and I'm sure many would follow. I have a set of conditions I'm willing to work under and if they ever were to be disturbed, I'm packing my things. I understand I may sound like I spoiled brat, but for me, Ambrosia is a bit more personal after all the years than just a community I manage.yeeeee i've always wanted to ask this :P

I won't actually answer that. Or rather, I'll give you a very vague answer.
Basically it all started with conflicts within high staff. Everybody was part of it, but the main conflict, I'd say was probably between me and Shark. Before you start imagining huge swear-word fights and ddos threats / whatever.. No it was nothing like that. it was all in calm and mature demeanor, we just couldn't come to find same note when it came to decision about community. We used to be very good friends for over 5 years and I utmost respect the man and wish him all the best - we just shared different views on how we believe a community should be run. Ultimately what it all came down to, due to our different views on things, it was not good atmosphere to be in and it was not only affecting not only me and him, but everybody in highstaff team.
Sami and Roni decided to follow Shark (I know Shark is probably the closest online friend of Roni, I can't vouch for sami, because frankly I don't know what his terms are with Shark and I'd be lying if I said I knew, but I presume they must be positive as well). There wasn't really any conflict between anybody with the departure. We just agreed to part ways after a talk.
Only heated times were, when Shark posted his leaving topic and a lot of things were from my point of view inaccurate or incorrect, so i posted my view on things. In retrospect I think both me and Shark should have simply kept quiet and it was unprofessional of me to drag personal things into Community management. Ultimately I should have just stayed silent, take the blame, although I felt like I didn't deserve it, but sometimes you've got to be punching bags for the members, but take it for the greater good of the community and stay silent about it. Issue is I'm usually a very vocal person, wanting to voice my opinion on anything and that was no exception. I do not feel guilt for posting it, I've just come to regret as it shattered my friendly terms with sami/roni/shark. But hindsight is 20-20 you know... And I'd dare to say situation got better by then after we talked it out.
That's when the things got heated between me - sami/roni/shark, but other than that we never really had any arguments since.
The reason why I won't go into this is because, pretty much all of us - anyone who participated in this conflict share different views on it.
I wish to stay in good terms with all 3 people here, after all they are long-time mates to me and I wish for it to stay that way. I think we all agreed (without even there being proper agreement, just with our thoughts and morale) not to touch on this topic ever again. It simply happened, it was necessary for future of Ambrosia and that's it and I think all of us who were involved can agree on that - that's all people need to know. Rest is personal and not worth digging up.
As for next, I can't say I'm in really good terms with him. He mainly left due to argument between him and fragment. I can't say fragment behaved like an angel either, but same could be said about next. it was generally very bad conditions highstaff team had to work under, so he had to go. I don't know what's up with him now. I don't have anything personal against him, I just felt like he was a bit too cocky about certain things, but I generally don't hold any grudges.

@ whoever: well since I came back to the game (cs 1.6 not silly csgo) , I played in several servers and I noticed the reg in ambro is basically horrible.
Its like everyone just absorbs my bullets instead of doing dmg. And yeah im rusty i dont hit nearly as good as i did before I stopped playing (and yeah blablabla i sucked back then too) hence the comparison with not to be named servers in which i do hit.
Any idea what is causing this bullet absorption?

For me tested with steam dd2 only..Was horrendous..Compared to cs:go..cs 1.6 was unplayable..

If all players register, they can prevent players that are not registered from joining and if he wants to fake steamid he'd need their passwords.What about it ? Easy thing for the non-lifers, remembre that after summer, 50% of jb players will have school, therefore they won't be able to be as active as they were before. Those "Plzdie's" can show up anytime on summer. Well I can't really tell, I mean, I can't just spoil the surprise. But it is a rather big project that could potentially boost Ambrosia to big popularity. It will quite guaranteed not be a immediate success, but with enough time and care, it can be main source of our popularity. You will see for yourself, maybe even this month.
