Why is this type of behaviour acceptable from an admin? Why did he even do it in the first place? He had no reason to.

When tony did it once, it scared a shit out of me. I really though it was a ghost or sth else (+ i was afk when tony didi it so i didnt saw cd eject line)

I do have to agree with Thor.
I believe it's good practice to have fun within the server, but not to potentially break/disturb something in the physical world over a game.

Seriously, you had to report me ? You know I have already done this in the past and nobody seemed to complain. I do not abuse this command since I simply do it rarely. The last time I used this command was 2 months ago I guess and nobody complained about it and you know, it's not that bad to have fun sometimes. Even tony admits he did it but guess what ? Nobody reported him at this time because of course, who would report tony ? He knows how to defend himself better than anyone and also at this time, there weren't people like you to report a simple action like this one. But don't misunderstand me, I basically recognize this action as an abuse but you know, sometimes it ain't this bad to do some things that should not be done. I would like to apologize if you basically consider this as something inappropriate and you can be sure you won't see me trying to have fun (specially by using something that could harsh them or by breaking a simple rule that could push someone like this guy to report me) with wrong people anymore.
P.S : Since you sir seem to be overly attached by rules should I ban you and prove the reason of my ban with the logs that show you heavily insulting/swearing at people for no apparent reason ? Should I ban you for what you have done or you will justify your fact by saying that you tried to "have fun" ? Should I judge you on your action and not on your intention ? You were abusing the swearing rule so what do you have to say for your defense ?

I agree with thor and Rubix, you shouldn't touch the physical world. If you eject my cd tray you can actually make it mallfunction because there is always a drink next to it. Think about it, you could have ruined my phone which lays there as well

You should not say this to me only, but also to everyone who did/does that because today was one of the only days I executed that command on players while other people do it more often. So of course, I did it but you should be fair with everyone. I know people who did that (even UCs). I know that this is not something appropriate but did these people get reported or did you take any action on these people ? No, of course that not. What I mean is that I don't understand why this is going against me only because I did it today, and I would like to recall that I basically don't do this often while other people used to do it more often. I basically recognize that this action was not appropriate and I already apologized. Moreover, I didn't even know this command before one of your former UCs executes it on me some time ago.

I never said that because someone did it, I should do it. Don't misunderstand me please. I only said that other people did this too and nobody gave a **** about it, I only did it max 4 times since I got admin rights in the Jailbreak server while other people used to do it more often. That's what I mean.

To add: nobody said anything about actions being taken. I would be surprised if there would be any actions taken, but this does bring up enough to have a short discussion over.
Ps. I would have responded the same for Tony or any other jb admin. I never knew this actually happened until this topic

My example is valid, and YOUR example confirms it as well. If the police catches you passing a red light they won't care if others did it before too, they saw you doing it NOW so they catch/judge you. Anyway, I already mentioned I'm not against you, I explained why they're accusing you right now, admins abusing the command was not right ofc and an action should(once again) have been taken as well.

Alright let's not make a big fuss about it, it was a simple mistake and it can happen to anyone, the big problem is such things take place many times and go without a punishment and then people think it's normal or fun. Indeed rules should be applied to everyone and not only on ReFresh as if you see someone not getting punished for something you can think of doing it as well for the sake of "fun". However, this leads to the thing I've always been saying, "some admins constantly ruin the game with actions "for fun"".
Lokator, it indeed is not something huge mate but this is like a chain, someone does a mistake and goes unoticed, then others do it too and it gets worse, someone is paying so we have fun in the servers, we gotta try not ruin the game with chains of wrong actions.
So I suppose this could be resolved but with stricter treatment towards rules and anyone breaking them.
P.S. Please stop using the word "fun" as an excuse. I consider fun banning people in the server for no reason, shall I do so?

Others didn't get caught because no body reported them. I think your the head admin of Jailbreak ain't you? - Make it clear to your admins from now on, none of this "cd-eject" commands. I think we can agree that it is not appropriate.
Conclusion: I think it would be unfair to punish Refresh alone for this.
Void in my honest opinion.

It's like the admins are robots and can not have a bit of fun sometimes.
I agree that people should grow up and stop taking things so seriously, the internet isn't for you if you're going to be a sobbing kid and report an admin for executing a command.

Point being, it might be a joke, but you never know if someone's using his cd tray or not so don't do it. Try to find a way to have fun that doesn't require you to potentially mess up someone's installation of a program or just break something else.

Alright I'll drop this report but I hope that higher ups will see this as the chance to remove amx_exec. I've also seen other commands being used by refresh that again, doesn't need to be used which should hopefully put the question over to the higher ups of whether this plugin is actually necessary.
I once used that command on someone that was installing a program for two hours straight and wasn't finished as a joke too. It wasn't all that funny for the person in question and made me feel bad for him.
Point being, it might be a joke, but you never know if someone's using his cd tray or not so don't do it. Try to find a way to have fun that doesn't require you to potentially mess up someone's installation of a program or just break something else.
This, all I heard was the sound of my CD drive and I thought it was something inside of my computer so I went down to check what it was, checked inside the case incase something fell out because I thought my computer might have broken. I looked to see that my cd drive was opened and noticed what the command actually done.
It may have seemed as if it was "fun" and people thought it was "funny" but as Maki said, anything could've been going on on someone elses computer that you didn't know about. Maybe next time you should consider the damages that something like this could do and whether it's appropriate.
I think my point has been made here and I'm requesting that someone closes this thread, sorry to Refresh for posting this thread.

Moral of it. Dont mess with things u shouldnt be messing with. Mechanics of pc's shouldnt be touched in any situation. Abusing a command for the fun of it ( even tho i never could see any reason for that but thats not the case) should only then be a ingame command and not a psysical thing.

They won't remove amx_exec because then they would have less "control".
It is in no way fun or funny. Your cd tray ejected, what's the reason to laugh? It can either cause problem for someone, or for others they will just put it back in and forget it ever happend.
You do not have to apologize, you made a very valid point.

This command was used by 85% of the admins. Pretty much it was used also on admins from other admins and no one really cared. Obviously he could of asked to not do that, instead of going with a report right? I know it wasn't "right" after all, but if now this can lead to a punishment or something it's quite stuipd. I don't see why so many trying to convince Refresh it wasn't right, he does know that very well, yet he doesn't see the point of the immediate report.
Even Universe Creators did this, as for you all who are replying: "He could of consider the UC as more known with commands like this" so he pretty much copied and used the same one for fun. :) (dont take this note as an excuse)
Keep it with a little warning to all admins HA UC's ++ and close this case as it's not really worth discussing for such a little thing that happend.

On behalf of the Emperors, I'm going to close it as it's been going on for way too long now. I think Refresh now understands that this command should generally not be used and that even as a joke. No further action will be taken now.
