i guess its illogical to ask someone that did not issue the warning on you. And i have been warned once, so maybe this is personal, but yeah, whatever.

obviously he is, but the 1st thing id do is to ask for a reason to the one who warned me, then, as popay stated, i can contact him for any disagreement.

Which part of his sentence you're claiming to be a verbal warning? Let me answer it for you! There is none! All I am seeing is, a question which I believe is correct and a heads-up notice that you have posted in the wrong area. I don't see Todo saying anything like, "Watch where you post or next time you'll be warned!" Thus, drop this as you've clearly misinterpreted his post.

In my opinion, and I'm not willing to insult anyone, seeing people getting warned so easily for small "spams" or this extremely overrated "support rule" is disturbing. Yeah I got 1600 posts, I'm gonna be Emperor now because I have a high post count, jeez... Like Jake said it's a community, chill, yes I do hate spams as well, but you know, we got like 20 people that got Forum Moderation rights, can't you just delete the freaking spam post? It's a forum, of course there will be spam, of course there will be arguements, of course there will be warnings, but please, just chill a little... I can tell you you're also spamming by replying to the spammer's post telling him "you're warned for spamming" instead of editing his post and typing there or PM-ing him.

Good day.

1800 posts b**ch please  8)

O.T: Agreed, in the past Ive seen many users being told off and many being insta warned,
And that thingy about knowing who warned you, Id rather know it by a reply than checking topics 1 by 1 to find where i got warned, and sometimes no edit is found.

EDIT: not to mention from who you got warned, where, in most cases, you have to ask a HS to find out who warned you.

seeing people getting warned so easily for small "spams" or this extremely overrated "support rule" is disturbing. Yeah
-I've never seen anybody get warned for a small spam . and please i would love to see you proving me wrong ( facts/evidence ofcource )

-Because we cannot just discuss the idea of the strictness of the forum team/system in the mid air like that .
why don't you discuss how well organized our forum really is . ( regarding other forums of other communities )

- about the example you gave about the "support rule " i don't see how " making a full well constructed sentence/paragraph while giving an opinion about a member who is applying for the administrationship " istead "of 3 words in 3 lines being repeated in every reply over and over " is disturbing

-Most warnings are indeed issues for things like"you posted off-topic 3 times this week, here's a warning", there's a delete option and 20 people with that access. I would show you plenty right now but I'm not at home atm. Let us not forget a community is like a hobby for most of us, indeed it has to be kept in order, but I don't wanna be afraid to post a joke as a reply to a comment and get warned. I once even got warned for not following once in my entire life the support rule, I remember it was like 10-15%, lol.
-I can discuss anything I want in mid-air, and I will discuss it with High Staff, if they would like to hear, not you.
-I do, this community is a hobby, I am not willing to make full 1 paragraph sentence for 10 supports I will give in a month. Of course I cannot just post "support", but it's not bad at all in my opinion to post "Support, skilled, mature and active.", it does simply explain the applicants capabilities, and that's the point, not how good I am in writting essays.

Most warnings are indeed issues for things like"you posted off-topic 3 times this week, here's a warning", there's a delete option and 20 people with that access.

We can't keep deleting the useless posts, there is a limit to everything. We have indeed the permission to remove useless and offensive posts but this doesn't mean that we should be doing that all the time. I have tried most of the time to remove the useless posts without even issuing a verbal warning to be honest but there are some conditions that people should respect. Even if there are 20 people who have forum moderation rights this doesn't necessarily mean that all of them do the same thing. Some of them tend to be more lenient while others are more strict and that's why people have to learn how to interact in the forum if they don't want to undergo any warning at all.

Let us not forget a community is like a hobby for most of us, indeed it has to be kept in order, but I don't wanna be afraid to post a joke as a reply to a comment and get warned.

What you don't understand is that posting a joke as a reply isn't always banned. You can indeed post a joke or make a funny statement as long as it abides to the rules. Don't forget that your comment may offend some people and that's why an action is taken most of the time when this kind of replies are posted. In addition to that, we don't need thousands of useless posts that contain humoristic quotes and that's why we try to regulate the frequency of these replies. The best way that we have found in order to regulate this frequency is to analyse the reply itself. If the reply is constructive and abides perfectly to the rules then it doesn't really matter whether it contains some humoristic quotes or not. These rules are more or less taken in consideration according to the situation. We tend to be more strict in some situations and more lenient in others and that's also why you have to learn how to interact in the forum since we are all different as we have different mentalities and therefore, we don't have the same strictness in each situation.

I once even got warned for not following once in my entire life the support rule, I remember it was like 10-15%, lol.

The reason of the warning wasn't because you failed to abide to the support rule but because you violated several rules that I'll not state here.

I do, this community is a hobby, I am not willing to make full 1 paragraph sentence for 10 supports I will give in a month. Of course I cannot just post "support", but it's not bad at all in my opinion to post "Support, skilled, mature and active.", it does simply explain the applicants capabilities, and that's the point, not how good I am in writting essays.

Once again, you are wrong. You think a lot about yourself but you don't think about the one who has to read these opinions. In my opinion, I'd rather read a long ass support that explains perfectly the reasons of why such player should be accepted than a 5 words support that only states the qualities of the applicant. The purpose of these opinions is to persuade the manager of the server if such player should join the administration team or not. There is no reason to simply state the qualities of the applicant if you cannot make the server manager understand your point of view. Managers are also a bit obliged to evaluate the validity of a support or not and if you justify your support by simply stating some of the qualities of the applicant, do you really believe that it will be the appropriate way to get the applicant accepted? That's why the support law was created in my opinion, in order to regulate the relevance of these opinions. Keep also in mind that back in time, when there was no support law, it used to take ages to get an application accepted (example : Replica's first Jailbreak application) since it was hard to evaluate the validity of the opinions stated in the thread.

I'd like to remind you that this is simply my opinion and that you own the right to express your point of view regarding this post if you wish.

Cheers.

I know you really like proving people(especially me) wrong, but you're not entirely right. And yes, my warning was for the support rule, you cannot argue with me on that.

From Popay: Archived, thanks for your point of view.
