AMBROSIA FORUM RULES

1- INTRODUCTION
Ambrosia is played by many people across the entire world with a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds. Our community is much like the larger, real-world community, while the majority of the people within it are honest, courteous and respectful to others, there is a small minority of individuals whose behaviour has the potential to alienate or offend others. It is for this reason we have a clear set of rules within Ambrosia, which has been designed to help protect our players from this disruptive minority.

The Ambrosia rules are organised into seven main categories: Posting, Respect, Forum Moderators Reserved Rights(With Subsections), Signature Rules, Support Rules, Forum Shoutbox Rules and Miscellaneous. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with these rules before and whilst using the Community Forums.

2- POSTING
a) Do not create topics before searching the Forums, there's no point in having 2 of the same topics.
b) Do not flood the Forums. Posting useless posts to try and get your post count up is not allowed.
c) Do not bump topics. Make sure the topic your posting in is recent and up to date.
d) Do not spam the Forums with URL's of other websites and servers. Advertising here will get you banned.
e) Do not go off-topic. You must stay always on topic, going off-topic will get you warned.
f) Do not post any content such as torrents or any other illegal downloads here.
g) English only is to be used on the Community Forums at all times.

3- RESPECT   
a) Do not insult anyone, everyone must be respected on the Forums. Breaking this rule can get you banned.
b) Do not insult or threaten any member of the community forums via PM. This will lead to a immediate ban from the Forums.
c) Do not bully, if the Forum Administration find any kind of bullying, a forced ban will take place immediately.
d) Do not discriminate others, everyone must be respected at all times.
e)  Free Speech is fundamental on this Forum, but at all times you must do so in a respectful way. Extremist and hatred views will not be tolerated.
f) Have respect for all of the forum users, remember if you be nice to others, you will receive the same in return.

4- FORUM MODERATORS (+HIGHER POSITIONS) RESERVED RIGHTS
a) Forum Moderators are allowed to lock, move, split or remove a topic when needed.
b) Forum Moderators are allowed to edit and/or remove posts when needed.
c) Forum Moderators are allowed to lock, edit and/or remove polls when needed.
d) Forum Moderators are allowed to warn, moderate and mute when needed.
e) Forum Moderators are reserved the right to ban anyone that violates these rules stated in this enacted law for the Forums.


4.1- HOW TO IDENTIFY A FORUM MODERATOR
Forum Moderators are normal members assigned by the Owners to keep the forums in order. You can identify them by a green crown() next to their name along with their name colored in green. They have many tools at their disposal to keep the forums enjoyable to everyone which includes warning, moderating, muting, locking topics, moving topics, editing topics... Anyone impersonating a Forum Moderator can lead to being banned.

4.2- FORUM RANKS WITH FORUM PRIVILEGES
a) Owners
b) Co-owners
c) Server managers
d) Server technicians
e) Forum Moderators & Local Board Moderators

4.3- LEVELS OF THE WARNING SYSTEM
a) WARNED: For minor offenses such as support rule and off-topic. This is a warning to stop, before more action is taken.
b) MODERATED: Given when warnings made by Forum Moderators have been ignored. Your posts will only appear to the public once a Forum Moderator has approved them.
c) MUTED: Given in serious violation against rules and constantly ignoring the warnings from the Forum Moderators. Muted users will not be able to post replies or create new topics.

5- SIGNATURE & AVATAR RULES

a) Not containing any notes of pornography or immaturity.
b) Not containing advertisement.
c) Not containing any offensive or unpleasant material.

6- SUPPORT RULES (ADMIN APPLICATIONS SECTION)
a) Posting only No Support/Support will be considered spam.
b) State the reasons of your opinion.
c) State your reasons in a respectful way and not intended to insult others.

7- FORUM SHOUTBOX RULES
a) No flaming/insulting anyone on the chat.
b) No flooding the chat with useless shouts.
c) No advertising on the chat, this will lead to being banned from chat.
d) No threatening Ambrosia, joke or no joke - It won't be tolerated.
e) No using the chat for unban requests, it must be dealt with in the Unban Appeals Board.
f) Always speak English on the shoutbox.

8- DISCLAIMER
a) All users can only have 1 account per person, multi-accounting is not allowed and your other accounts will be deleted.
b) All users are obligated to follow and respect of these rules on their first post. If a member violates these rules, action will be taken by the Forum Administration Team!
c) We do not delete primary accounts for any reason so please, don't request your account for deletion.
d) If you see any posts that goes against this Code of Conduct then use 'Report to Moderator' on the post where it will be sent to the Forum Administration Team for review.
e) You should note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP or the relevant authorities contacted.
