To me it's actually stupid (TO ME ONLY).
I downgraded from windows 8 to windows 7 because of that and other annoying stuff.
I have windows 7 and I am proud of still using it, since in my opinion it's way better than windows 8 (visual wise that is).

If you want to use windows with no restrictions I believe windows 95 is a great choice for that ... but it needs odee updates :D

That's a load of bullshit with Windows 95 right there, if you truly want (almost) full control of your OS, go with Linux, not older unresponsive Windows products.

Only worthwhile products from Windows are XP Professional and Win7.
