Right peeps, I need help with two things. First one is a brainer, second: a technical.
Tags: Javascript, Cordova, Filesystem.
I'm after the best 'data' (or data's) to compare while checking if an update is available for a file. Possibly the file size but what if the file format has changed or just one character has changed and so it happens, the file size stays the same (don't even know if this is possible) ? Is this a reliable method?
Case: An API call to a CMS which retrieves posts where there is a file download available (not limited to): PDF, Docx, Spreadsheet, Video.
Secondly - Skip if you have no JS/Cordova knowledge...
I can't access onprogress property of Cordova File Transfer! I can't see anything wrong with my code - Uploaded a 250MB file to test as I have a very fast down speed.
