Good day y'all,
Just as a first note the things i will be telling is something serious and happens with alot of people so respect it.
I am Thomas 24 years old now and i life in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. I still life at my parents place for various reasons u will see later in the bio.
Atm i am only just a volunteer at a centre that has activities for people got a stroke or any brain injury that didn't happen when they were born.
I can really relate to those people since they all suffered or still suffer from depressions or any mental issue.
2 and a half years ago when i still worked at KPN and i was still with my ex i started having troubles with myself.
Constant headings and other physical problems. After a short while of just minor health issues it started to evolve to worse and worse.
I started having panic attacks each night. Was scared to go out of the house or even to be alone. I thought every night i would die that terrible it was.
Never the less, due to those problems with myself my work fired me and i was completely without anything.
My ex didnt care about me and didnt help me. So breaking up with her was the best thing i ever did.
After a short while the doctor said i had to go see a shrink. Sure can do. Most messed up thing ever to do but oh well. To get healthy u need to start making big steps right?
So i went, and i got diagnosted with a panicdisorder and a social fear disorder. Which basicly means panic attacks and scared to go busy places or even outside. Like i didnt know? Lol but ok.
So just doing those therapies and stuff i became a bit better.
BUT here comes Ambrosia in this periode aswell.
Ambrosia became a place for me that i could just relax and be myself. No worries just game and chilling.
I really became addicted to the community. Just the nice vibe and lot of good people, so i completely went for the community to help out where i could help.
I applied in May 2013 to become a admin in DD2 and there is what everything started rolling.
I played hours and hours on the server, i just did my duty as a admin and thanks to this i could forget alot of my personal issues.
Ambrosia helped me alot of getting over alot of issues like not liking to talk with strangers. (i know sounds odd for me but it really happened)
After dd2 i became admin in Public, MM, Serverguard, CW server.
Also when Niples left as HA and Grmbl became HA they trusted me as a HAA. I was really honored in doing this. But yea this was only a short periode of time till i became UC in october(Dont remember exactly).
I really loved helping out everyone i could help out. But yea, every good thing also has a end. And that was pretty much just something simple that we ain't gonna share.
Never the less, the whole periode after that i was more focussed on different things like my current girlfriend. Ula
and i can't think of a better girl then her
See lives with me now here in Holland at my parents place and ya unfortantly i had to start over going to a shrink again because i have big issues again.
Clue of this bit of the story.
If u have mental issues. Don't be ashamed. It is a human thing that happens to alot of people.
Those issues are not understandable for any normal person. And because of this there are alot of bumps in the road getting back on your feet.
I spent atleast 1 year in therapy the first time.
Now i am going again and thats about 2 months and prolly gonna be another year in total.
My cases are used at big congresses in the Netherlands since i have some connections. I am not shy about my issues. If someone asks i am not afraid to tell about it.
This could happen to everyone and i hope and wish it doesnt happen to you peepz.
Protect yourself. Are u to carrying for people? Take time for yourself aswell. This was why i got issues in the first place.
Try to give every single thing a place before starting with a new thing.
This is just a bit of advice i can give to you after experiencing everything.

And NO i don't tell this to get pity from anyone. i do this to open up and let you know that those things are normal(in some way)
