« on: March 01, 2014, 12:09:26 pm »
Hello guys,

I'm wondering if you guys have a tutorial of how to make a c4d signature since i could not find a single one on youtube. Do all C4D Signatures require Cinema4d since i know some don't but i'm trying to find a good looking tutorial w/ commentary.

For : Photoshop CS6 / Extended

I don't really understand what do you need. Are you looking for a tutorial 3D text's? There are many of them, you can't make a signature just in Cinema4D. You need Photoshop too. Search for some C4D text tutorials.

The problem with most of those signatures you see in that google image link you provided are not c4d signatures. Most of them are just photoshop. I have yet to find a really decent tutorial on the power of C4D for signatures.

One piece of advice I was taught during graphics classes was; When following a tutorial - Don't copy it exactly. Mess with the settings and change things. That way you'll learn what the settings actually do, rather than blindly following the instructions and waiting for the end result. Trial and error, find what works, how it works, mess with it and then your imagination is your only limitation.
