I thought these models were classed as a cheat? I removed due to that reason, so are they?

Just to explain to you guys. This is MODEL, it doesn't change the code of the game, definition of hack is - changing the actual code of the base game. This is just chaning style of the weapon, this model won't change the base code of the any model (v_name), that was coded into a game engine. It's just ''customization'' of the original model from Valve(or creator of cs 1.6), that has removed the base animations, such as bring-up weapon and pull-back weapon. For example, if you set silencer on your Usp or M4, there is an animation, while you can't shoot. It's totally same because you're chaning JUST MODEL, not actual GAME. The game has been coded to force player to shoot while setting the silencer up..

You can feel free to get this modification. I wouldn't recommand playing with it, but you won't get banned!
=> This isn't a cheat.
 I would say that it's great for video-editors to use.

But this thing up, that I've mentioned isn't that true, you can get models like crosshair for scout also for awp, which is not a hack, but It's cheating.
also there are red/blue - (t/ct) models also, but admins  used to ban for this. It's like 50% wallhack..

These HLTV models are 100% SAFE, you CAN'T GET BANNED for using them

it's true what u said,but i have to disagree with the red/blue models

they are called ESL models which is made for the ESL league(it's a pretty famous tournament)

so there is no reason to ban someone for it...

When did I say it was a hack? I said cheat not hack. It gives you an advantage to see players easier. No need to lecture me or the others on what is a hack and what is a cheat. The only reason why I posted that was because I wasn't 100% sure that they were allowed to be used here as there was a topic discussing this and I never got to see what the final opinion was. I only wanted a "No, these are allowed" not a whole lecture on what are cheats and hacks lol. And some servers do ban for having these models and the ESL models. Anyway I already created a topic in Admin HQ about this and they told me what they said in the topic.

The word ''cheat'' doesn't mean/name exact one thing. It names all kind of stuff that has connections with ''doing something easier than it was made.'' I do remember servers which you could get banned for using these ''ESL models". I didn't want to verbally injure anyone. but I've understood it like that.

lolmao dom.

Tell me what advantage u get by using this model that commonly is called fast switch model. Its a bit better looking however there is a lil trick hidden. When U r using this model - the access to the gun doesn't change. You are having usual gun switch delay like 1.2 sec with this model it just fake the look and nothing more. So when you are trying to fast switch you must guess when you can use ur gun (im talking bout milliseconds), and no one is banning for this. You prolly mistaken this with ESL model skins, that are recognized as unfair advantage and still are used by some of our admins.

Please do some research domi before posting :)
