Title: silex™ steam got hacked
Post by: silex™ on February 17, 2019, 08:31:22 pm: My steam account got hacked this morning so I thought I let you know, don't interact with any messages that's sent to you, I'm trying to resolve the issue, wish me luck.

Sometimes it feels like a pain in the ass, but in the long run it is very helpful.

thats.. close to impossible w/o having access to your phone doe?

Quite easy actually, he (hacker) could pretend that he lost the phone number as soon as he gets the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator and then he gets the chance to change it and put his own phone number to access to the account nothing difficult though and what is more funny is that silex wouldn't even have the chance to receive or detect any message on his phone regarding his Steam Guard being changed or anything about it while a hacker is hacking his account. :)

That's exactly what happened, he must've chose the option that says phone number lost or something, then he puts his own number, that must be fixed.
