Title: Jailbreak - Community vote! Limit FPS?
Post by: Jake on December 24, 2018, 06:14:07 pm
I've brought it up in the server a few times suggesting we should limit the FPS in order to slow the amount of G-Straifing there is.

To answer some of your questions beforehand:
Q: Just get more CT's?
A: If nobody else wishes to be CT he or she wouldn't be able to get any assistance, hence death & horrors

Q: Git good?
A: Fuck you

Q: Make it a rule instead?
A: Completly unnecessary when it can be limited by limiting FPS.

Yeah 300 would be fine.
Game starts lagging above that :D

and it's strafe-swimming as well, not only G-strafe

Yeah, remove the only thing that actually takes skill just because noob cts cant kill you.
It's jailbreak ffs, you do everything you can to escape. in this case sgs, juke the cts, try to be sneaky, roll the dice.
It takes years to master that shit and it's not like every tt is doing it. I only see Phantoms doing it effectively.

Only reason you guys want it removed is because you can't do it and have potato pcs so you don't care if the fps is limited to 100.

It only gives an advantage based on skill. It is no cheat or hack, so the only reason we could remove it would pretty much be cause we suck so we don't like it. I don't like it either, but man do I get an orgasm when a smartass tries to outsmart me by g-strafing and I send him to hell with a headshot. Skills can be beaten by skill, we gotta git gud :D

if y'all that pro you can g strafe with 100 fps  but more than that nah,
also can't vote. but yeah, limit fps to 100.

For example on swimming pools too, someone who has 500 fps to someone who has 60 fps has a big advantage.

For example Phantom had 333 fps and I was playing on 60 on a 228 longjump, yet he has no skills to do a 228 longjump so I beat him with 60 fps but can gstrafe like a monkey only because of fps.

So fps are only an advantage and nothing more. If you are good you can sgs/gstrafe with 100 fps.

It has been now limited to 200. We'll see later on if it will be re-configured.
