Ambrosia Announcement
Hello to everyone,
First of all I would like to apologise for this long delay. It has been one week and there have been 0 official announcements.
Also, thanks everyone for being here and staying with us. We really appreciate your loyalty and we hope to offer you the best service we can.
But starting with a summary of what happened:
I believe everyone saw the topic @Sneaky~RoN made. Ron is one of the oldest players, members and staff here in ambrosia, and he has been managing ambrosia in all aspects for quite a while now. Unfortunately everything has an end, and ron had to focus more on his life. And obviously there was no one to pay for the bills. It was really sad to see ambrosia go like that.
This is until @Navily came to me, offering to pay a part of the bill for ambrosia. This is when I came up with a plan.
Basically, running on the previous plan was not an option, I had to make plans for a cheaper option without affecting the servers too much. I won't go into further details about the plan, but It simply didnt feel right leaving ambrosia go without one last try.
Well, before I make predictions, keep in mind that there is always an IF, IF the plan works.
What is the future of our servers? We are currently trying to keep DD2, JB and a couple CSGO servers. My priority is moving everything to another environment, which means that servers will have some changes.
The first server to be released will be DD2, We have been trying to move it the past couple days and I am finally comfortable releasing it now.
The new DD2 server IP is: 185.34.216.216:27015
Most likely the server will be offline for a period of time, as it's still not completely "set up".
Okay, so, DD2 announced. Now lets look at the staff team. First of all, I would like to thank Navily for offering to pay for ambrosia. He is going to be the new Owner.
About the servers, we are planning to keep their respective managers, so there wont be any changes there, at least for now. But you might have noticed that Zombie server is missing. Indeed it is, there are no plans for the server. However @Andrew is going to be the new Forum Moderator. He is going to manage the forums along with @SilverQuick . So, gl Andrew :D
Ron, well, I cant say anything about him, It's really sad to see old members like him go, I really wish him the best of luck, has been a good friend and a good team member. I would also like to thank him a lot for paying for another month and leaving us some time to move the servers. Moving him to HOF is the least I could do.
Also, as I mentioned, I would like to thank Ron and Navily for letting me try one last thing.
I really hope not to let any of you down, and I really hope everything goes as planned.
