[info]Hello fellow Ambrosians,
I hope you all are doing well, because i am happy to tell you that we are fine now! So i will just write everything that concernes our community currently and the changes that occured during these months.[/info][info]As you all have seen we went through big difficulties these months. We have tried everything to come back and we are back now again without any problem when it comes to attacks. We have done everything to stop it by changing host and everything to make sure people are able to enjoy their game play again. Even tho we went through difficulties i am more then happy to see that we have some great dedicated players and staff even tho some of them lost their motivation to play or work for our community they are still here doing stuff. There are some people who gave up and others stayed. There are some people who left our community and there are others who are still playing. I would like to thank each and everyone of you for staying into our community. Thank you for your dedication i very well appreciate it. I hope that we are all trying our best to make it the best place possible and accesible for everyone even tho financialy its even more expensive now then before. But we prefere that our members and staff play in a place where they feel like home. I know that there are up's and down's in every community that was another down for us but we will reach the up's again i promise you. And those things occured the moment that i am the most busy in the year so i am sorry i couldn't be here everytime to make sure everything runs perfectly. But like for everyone life is first. I hope you all understand.[/info][info]Ok lets go to the changes and updates in our community :
- New dedicated box with Layer 7 protection currently one of the highest protection that existe agains't Ddos attacks.
- New forum protection Layer 7 as well. But there are still some problems after those attacks but we are working to fix the fast's possible. And you should have already seen the (400 error page).
- Team Speak 3 Server will come back shortly we are working to bring it back.
- We are also working to bring new stuff into Ambrosia talking about new plans.
- Minecraft servers will be down until Ed comes back and decides what he wants to do with it. (Don't ask me when he will come back i have no idea i lost all contact with him).
- There are also some different events that will be organized in these months coming not sure when but i will make a topic once i know when it will happen.
[/info][info]- There are also some people who left and resigned :
- First of all Unreal our former Community Leader who was promoted some months before he resigned because he coudn't handel it anymore.
- There is City our dd2 Server manager who moved to a different country and he is busy with studies, he will stay as an admin but he won't be able to keep anymore his rank because he is very busy. Thanks for your great work both of you.
- Rambaten will come back once he feels better he is going through difficult times i hope everything gets well for him and his family. Wish him the best. Thanks again for your great work.
- There is also DayLight who has been helping us as a Manager of cs 1.6 he is busy with his new studies too so he is leaving his position since he feels that he will not be able to do his job.
- Ed i don't know what is going on with him since like i said above i have no news from him. I hope everything is alright with him and if not i hope things go better. Because he is a guy who was for years beside me since we started as Head Admins in Ambrosia. He will come back i know that for sure but when i don't know. So currently he will be moved to inactive Rank until i get some news from him.
- Red Wolf he has been working here also with us since we took over he is a great guy he is helping every single day when it comes to servers or forums or attacks any problem and Red wolf is always there.
