Welcome,
I am looking for a Notebook with medium specs with a CPU starting from a Core i3 CPU. However, I would like a notebook that can last all day without mains from 5 hours or more, if possible. Would anybody be able to help me with this? Dedicated Gfx isn't an issue unless if it can play at least Counter Strike 1.6, offline.
I am trying to lower energy bills these days, I have too much shit running, and it's annoying.
Cheers, Bye

While gaming with a single GPU and monitor you will use somewhere between 200W and 400W (you can calculate for your box, or use an energy meter from the hardware store for exact #s). Let's say 300W. If you're gaming on the weekends only, let's say you have no life & play 20 hours/week. There are 4.33 weeks per average month, so 86.7 hours of computer time per month.
Now the math - 300W x 86.7 hours = 26000 Wh = 26 kWh
26 kWh x $0.10/kWh = $2.60 per month.
You don't need a notebook if you're trying to reduce the energy bill. It pretty much powers the same.

I have bought an energy monitor for home appliances, with a Core i3 cpu and a gtx 260 gpu with 4gb of ram and a 500gig hard-drive I was drawing less than 80 watts on heavy load with a 650 watt psu.

The difference is still negligible.
