Complaint: What happens when a good player uses silent aim? I present "Sober-Guy".
He doesnt use nades, he forgets to buy kits, the only gun he reliably scores headshots with is the deagle, strange how thats a setting most silent aimers like to use. Every other gun he seens to lockon to center chest with unerring accuracy, never missing a drag spray.
And to cap it all off he locks on to a headshot while a target is jumping across his vision, whilst spraying at another target.
This is silent aim. A good player with an old account true. But this is textbook silent aim.

It's clear as day and there's no refuting it. Lockon and snap to head whilst spraying at another target.

Looks like a silent aim to me obviously never misses the target no matter what the situation and the position, I've seen these actions more often from Sober, but I always thought it was a matter of luck and so on, but seeing this demo I would say it's a silent aim he's using plus, it's true that he never buys nades (grenades) only uses smoke, flash and he never tries to plant c4 nor to defuse it as well, what kind of player is he really? such a weirdo gameplay which makes the theory more solide that he's using it somehow besides I'v always knew drn he's quite a good and an experienced player and knows who's cheating and who's not and never accuses somebody just like that.

We can take humans to the moon, we can land our rovers on mars, we have sent satellites to other planets, and far away beyond the kepier belt, but we cannot view demos of counter-strike without having the game files :(

I use the complexity demo player to review and organise my demos more easily. You'll need 1.6 installed though to actually watch them eLemennT. Remember to use "viewdemo" not "playdemo" so you can jump to the ticker timer you want exactly.
Silverquick can you edit your post to remove the name of the cheat being used, we aren't here to advertise for them. His is well setup with a narrow lock-on window for the aim assist, looking like about 10-12° of his crosshair, and it's kicking in after his 3rd bullet in a spray with a rifle. With awp and deagle it's got a wider window set more like 15-20° but kicks in on the first bullet. It's also set to a hard cap of no more that 20% headshots, always found it slightly funny when he's got 90+ kills yet less headshots than me at two thirds his overall kills. God like aim but doesnt seem to want to aim for headshots... was one of the alarm bells.
I was lucky to catch this lock-on, with the secondary target appearing just inside his assist window whilst he was shooting at the first target but its an obvious silent aim kill. You can even see him shake the mouse afterwards to recenter himself after he lost control of the spray to the autoaim, similar to how you will sometimes see good players do after a missed burst or awp shot. But this wasn't a missed burst, it was a surgically precise spray that looked well undercontrol, so why shake the mouse?

Just checked the demo, man that's silent aim for sure, with my experience in 1.6 i can say that's it, there is no other explanation, espcially if you watch the demo in slow motion, when shooting the first guy he instantly switched to the second (lower tunnel), that's cheat don't try to say otherwise.

I wish i could contribute as well but.... I have more serious business to take care of in real life. We all know sober is a good player but never thought he could actually use cheats. That was harsh. And the facts that Zz. Posted could actually prove that he is silent aim.

Anyways, I'd suggest ya'll not to rush with your decision. Take some time, watch the demo 2, 3 and even 5 times if necessary before posting your opinion about it. Lets not forget that Sober is a no lifer who spent almost 3000 hours on cs and never got vacced. He was even ranked 1st in the awp ladder of esl 1 vs 1.
Please understand that I'm not defending him. I did watch the demo twice, but I still need to watch it again and again with different speeds before I can say anything about it and I expect you guys to do the same and then if you still have the same decision then great, at least you did your bit. But make sure you do it.(and surely the final decision goes to Eros since he decided to take this). No doubt drn is experienced, and I'm not underestimating any of those who posted already, you all are good players and I'm sure you have good experience, but still I'd recommend that we treat sensitive topics as such with responsibility and not let our "Ah I'm so experienced, I don't even need to watch it again" kind of ego take over.

I don't know, the GIFs don't really show much.
The first GIF is a normal spray, he notices the guy behind and sprays towards him as well.. he spray transfers, watching semi-pro CSGO players and they do this all the time, once you have your muscle memory spot on it isn't even close to hard to do.
2nd one is pretty simple to explain, tick rate, watch a low tick demo and you'll see this happen all the time, the only suspicious thing is the lock on to the face but come on really? Good muscle memory = good aim.
I don't see anything in the 3rd GIF at all, it's just a casual flick..

Reading this irritates me...
First, sober has LOTS of afk hours, like 1/4 of his total cs hours is legit but im not saying he is a bad player.
2nd, 95% of ppl who commented here has no clue of different kind of aimbot so pls stop writing bullshit about yall opinion bout "silent-aim".

Secondly valve anticheat does not detect this kind of cheat so stop saying that he did not get vacban. At 14:35 He used bunnyhop to enter the base b (bunnyhop is not tolerated at server)
At 15:08 the shooting pattern with the ak is weired .

At 5:46 use 1/4 demo speed Look well at the first tero,sober shot a single bullet that touched the enemy despite the fact that the crosshair is not on the target and even very far from him,After the bullet has touched the enemy the crosshair locked on him.
his shooting pattern is always perfect with any weapon and in any situation moving targets or in difficult elevations, so with his +60 ping i think this is impossible.
the conclusion is crystal clear this sober is using a Custom Cheat.

lol groentje is just as old as most of us old players lol.
Anyways I never had the urge nor was I ever curious to spectate you at all because I trusted your steam account. But what was always fishy to me is that no matter how good you are at the game sometimes you are going to have bad days. I know from myself sometimes I literally dont miss a single headshot ingame all night or I play normal.
You on the other hand what Roni stated once always have the same performance which is one of the fishiest shit ingame because here we don't have full server of noobs we have people that actually can kill you directly if you don't insta headshot/awp them out.
To be honest, I've known drn the entire time I've been around ambrosia. Maybe one of the most people I have scrimmed and played wars together was drn hence what made me view the entire demos posted.

Thats fine Ed. The unintended lock-on during the second kill at lower 40 seconds in is really clear. The demo is available if people don't like my crosshair colour or want to watch it in slow motion :)

It is unfortunate for you Sober, but this is what happens when you cheat. Justice gets served one way or another. Your rank has been taken away from you and you are permanently banned on all 1.6 servers.
Since you are aware of your report, you can make an unban request after 6 month's and only if you have removed your illegal software.

You were a good one but now you have just lost all my trust in only 2 mins. You wont be able to participate even if you get unbanned in futur in any other évent or everything what we will organize in ambrosia.
