Title: Sound Recording
Post by: Commandox862017 on July 16, 2017, 04:02:15 pm
Welcome,

I am writing a project in C#.NET which is console based. However, once the application initates, it will allocate a timer set to 1000 milliseconds, 1ms lags my application but the 1000 milliseconds is smoother for some reason. I capture bitmap images of the foreground window or selected process which then saves it to disk with the incremented integer and filename i.e. Screenshot001, 002, 003.bmp and so forth.

I dont know how to record audio from the computers speakers/sound card. I have heard waveInStart does it but I can't be sure. WSAPI look back capture looks akward, and I dont want the hassle of it. Would JAVA script be able to capture live sound from the speakers or selected mixer input device?

Code: [Select]
https://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/sound/capturing.html

Any comments or suggestions welcome.

I dont want to use any external library's for my project, I want to write my own because then I can release my own project... Without anybody else's work.

Which is what I want.
