Title: inactivity
Post by: Super S0NAM on August 12, 2016, 05:34:58 pm
wow, there are so many dd2 admins, yet they barely even show up, there were multiple cheaters and not one admin came.
this seriously needs to fixed, alot of people are not wanting to play due to the inactivity of admins.
i recorded a demo to backup my evidence for this complaint, demo link below

Different time zones, having a life, working, going school, holidays, going out - all these reasons determine ones activity. There is absolutely no point to even discuss this as this is common sense. This is not a paid job and it is voluntarily. Your application will not be boosted because you have complained about the current dd2 team. Why would we put you in the same team of which you are complaining off?

Same for those who liked Sonams post....

Well. I just wanted admins to show up when I enter. Because my demo shows how irritating it was for me and others to play when there was multiple cheaters at once in dd2. I'm not asking for every single admin to magically come at once. I'm asking and hoping for at least 2/3 admins to come online. With the àmount of admins in dd2 surely there has to be some there. And help to keep server maintained. Not hating on anyone specifically this is just my honest opinion. I didn't make this post to piss people off or anything :/

If there are cheaters then spectate them, record an appropriate demo and report them in the Report a Player Section (https://www.ambrosia-servers.com/community/index.php?board=50.0). The report panelists will review your report and will judge whether the reported player has to be punished or not.

If you cannot be arsed to spectate people, to record demos and to report them but you make a complaint instead to show your butthurtness, then why are you even applying for DD2 admin ?

I would suggest seeing the DD2 Staff list and see if you can contact anyone. Good practice is knowing how to contact them.

well pringles there are countless of cheaters always pouring in but i have to record everysingle one of them, it would be much easier if some admin showed up but, ok, no arguing i wil have to record them anyway :/

That's funny, because every single admin has to record every single cheater etc.

'every single cheater' not arguing but you have to record everysingle one? what if it is an obvious one to figure out? still record :/

Every single one, no exceptions.

Always! That is the rule for all the administrators! No ban without proof! No matter how obvious! If the obvious cheater comes to make an unban request and admin does not provide the demo, we have to unban him as we go by the policy - innocent until proven guilty!

So yes....

I see a lot of admins whilst there is an aimbotter they try to catch wallers (which they are making a demo of at that time) first and ban them then make another demo for that aimbotter. that takes a lot of time! Maybe they should prior aimbotters hence they make more effect to the servers and ban them both with the same demo?

I see the banning process can be a lot quicker by those simple solutions.
For example tell your admins priority is aimbot then speedhack then wallhack and maximum banned suspects in demo = 3. And other solutions you guys should also think of  :)

As we all said we are trying our best to clean up the server but admins cant be online everytime everybody has different things to do. And we are trying our best to find different timinig admins.

DROPPED.
