Why not just use @media{} css port, like I used @ our old forums? Worked fine to optimize our forums for mobiles.
That's exactly what i'm using mate.
My point is, with how @media{} port works, there will be no button, it automatically switches between version depending on your screen resolution, that's why I was confused about your method of implementation in the first place.

the madia thingy applies certain rules on certain elements in certain sizes.
Meaning that if the size (width) of the screen is lower than X, than there will be a different style/formatting for elements declared within @media , with no option to switch it back to desktop view.
What if there is someone who likes the desktop website, someone that is not on 3G and doesnt care about mobile data, someone who is using super fast wifi (a decent one :D ) and cba to wait 1-2 seconds more. He would definitely want to switch to desktop. Thats where the JS comes in handy.
Thank you for defining what @media port means after I already declared it and called it out for the exact same thing. Also, the reason you use mobile port is not because you don't want to use desktop version, but because the mobile version is optimized for your screen. A good mobile port is not one that limits features, just enhances it for different viewport. Overall, I don't get your post, at first you just gave me a wiki definition of what I already specified and the second part doesn't make much sense.TL;DR

I must really say I wasn't quite optimistic after what happend past 3 weeks, especially when Rawr resigned in my eyes I only saw the walkig dead here. Well the first step is done now, we should hold it now and not put weight on it to loose everything. People should stop looking at the negatives of some person, and start looking at their positives!
I just hope raven, casper ezza, have accepted everything and that no action has been taken without them being aware ^^ You saw where that put us last time.

Nice to see Ambrosia back and hope that you can return to former glories without the same tindered reputation.
