Title: Steam trading update - wtf volvo..
Post by: Phantoms on November 20, 2015, 04:11:39 am
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/steam-escrow-petition (http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/steam-escrow-petition)
In a short paragraph:-
Quote
Steam is adding a "escrow." Basically, if one person who trades items via steam to another user is not using mobile authentication, the trade has a cooldown until it goes through, which would destroy trading and a number of community sites.
Thats a wrong move imo.

Hows that nice? this will have an substantial effect on a very artificial market. People will be more reluctant to pay thousands of dollars, because sites like opskins will not exist and it will therefor much harder to cash out dropping skin value significantly and running an already shaky market , I think the email athentication is enough , Valve can't fully eliminate the scammers , at this point they are just making things harder for normal users ::)

as far as steam bots are not against steam rules, and steam is aware of them, then I doubt anything can happen to them.
Just like todo said. Unless steam implements a rule that states that bots aren't allowed.
