Even tho it wont be used that much, would it be possible to make an section for the people who're watching anime? I bet players Ambrosia are watching it are but scared to reveal themselves, so this might make newcomers/people who're already here for a long time comfy to talk about it and share their experiences/suggestions about what they watched :3 (atleast I hope so ._.)

My brother is 26 and has a bigger collection in anime collectables and stuff then all those nubs here.
He got around 30 figurines (dont know how to write it) like 200 manga strips. And many more stuff

It fits kinda under general off topic like we have sports/music/movie stuff there aswell.
And if check those parts how popular are those sub boards? I think anime atleast deserves a chances even tho i am not a fan of it. There are tons here that do like it.

A lot of grow ass people people do watch anime , that doesn't mean they are toddlers , heck I watch anime and last time I checked I'm not a kid lol

Anime are not always about childish stuff , there some shows with serious subjects and topics !

Here we go again.. I wish people that were ignorant regarding a matter would atleast attempt to inform themselves before criticizing people or slandering them with silly comments. I understand you may not like the same kind of stuff and that's understandable but most of your comments seem to stem from the fact that you're badly informed. Anyway back to topic.
An anime section wouldn't affect the majority of the community, let alone destroy it. I don't understand how you come to this conclusion either.
A section would simply feature all contents related to anime, mangas, light novels, visual novels, ... in one section since right now it has no place to go at. I've seen many forums that run just fine with anime sections or forums mostly related to anime and have civilized discussions and more mature users than there are here.
As to what would be discussed, it would be the plot of a story, the characters, what you think will happen next and so on, just like you would discuss a movie or a series really. In the end, it's not all that different except from the fact that one features real actors and the other features animations. You can do good stories with animation too and I don't see why just because it's an animation, it's aimed towards kids? There's plenty of movies with supernatural effects, what about them?
On top of that, as said prior, there are different demographics related to different anime & mangas. Several are aimed towards adults, like josei and seinen and then there are those that generally are aimed towards the younger audience and albeit those are more frequent, I see enough variation of everything so that anyone interested can find something that he would enjoy.
Plus there's nothing really wrong with liking something childish even if it was and it certainly doesn't describe your maturity in the least. What's wrong with still being a child at heart?
I don't think the section is necessarily required in a gaming community honestly but it's always good to have variation, sections for games, movies, series & other things are generally in my opinion a good addition, hence why I'd support this section.

Thriller is a genre of movies/tv shows. A good comparison would be saying people prefer "Shounen" anime then since this too is a genre of Anime. Of course Koray's only asking for one section, not for a subsection for every genre of anime. That would be a tad too much ;)

Also regardless of whether you approve of the suggestion or not, discuss in a civilized manner please. Post your opinion without necessarily criticizing other people. That would be nice.

Don't see anything wrong with idea although I can't imagine what the section will look like? If it's going to be plenty of download links to episodes and so on, sorry, but no thank you. On the other hand, I think it will be a good idea for those that want to share opinions about specific anime etc.

Actually no, people can start topics of an certain anime and maybe link the kissanime/youtube link version of an episode or the whole series of it in the comments or the OP self can redirect you to that anime serie/episode of it.

I would see good this section. It is not cartoons, anime has much genres and it can be from kids to seinen (adults) but if you dont see anime you havent rights to talk about it! and it can be a good section to have here, i am sure that anime is not only seen for 4 members of this community :) I support you koray

Unlike my previous post, this time I'll be srs. An anime section would be great because it would raise discussion between the current Ambro Anime Viewers, such as Koray, Shiro and so on. If you want to call it "Spam" go ahead, but there's seriously nothing bad about having a little corner where the anime freaks can socialize :D
I support the idea, because I believe that there is many great anime that I haven't seen and that some people could show, not just me, but many others some good anime.

I'm not an avid watcher of anime, but I do enjoy the vast majority that I've seen. I don't know a huge amount of people who are fans of the genre, but at least it seems like a reasonable place to get suggestions other than seeing what the top rated ones on imdb, which are all basically studio ghibli anyway.
I can see peoples points about spam, and silly discussions, but make rules to deal with those kind of posts and I see no real issues.
I reckon its a good idea, at least worth considering.

So We, recommend using this area: Entertainment Area (http://www.ambrosia-servers.eu/community/index.php?board=52.0), which you can find after clicking on General Off-Topic Corner (http://www.ambrosia-servers.eu/community/index.php?board=195.0).
Reason for this: Animes are preferably found over there because Animes are categorized as Entertainment. It doesn't have any connection with gaming, which can survive without making a brand new section for it. Feel free to use the links above for your Animes.
