Post by: Ḏ℮ηїαł on December 08, 2014, 11:31:45 am
I was thinking we should have a trading/selling section on the forums just to trade items/sell

:)

Why not use www.csgolounge.com (http://www.csgolounge.com) ? It is way better, there are very few members here (relatively speaking) so there is no use in this I think.

What do you want to trade here on the forums? Used panties? You are in a gaming community and suggesting a trading section. Every game that supports trading already has a famous website for specifically that.

I don't really get the attitude of we shouldn't have trading because of csgolounge and csgoloot.

I fail to see what's wrong with having another place to trade, with people you've got some kind of rapport with and much less likely to be scammed (tbf if you get scammed on lounge etc, you're an idiot.)

If anything it would probably encourage the community to grow as well.

What if McDonald's had decided there was no point opening a burger shop because there was already burger shops?

EBay pls

The difference is, if u want a trading section u need people that are able to trade. And for now there are HARDLY people that are able to trade here.
Csgolounge and csgoloot is just the way to go. Next to that those kinda things are suggested before and all denied since plain and simple, the cs 1.6 community here is way bigger then csgo. Almost 75% here plays non steam. U get me?

I get your point. I just don't agree with it.

Just because there's a small community doesn't mean its not worthwhile doing.

If you want to increase the community you would do things that would encourage people to become part of it. Realistically the Cs:Go community is only going to grow, while the 1.6 will only decrease, so I don't see why offering things to the cs:go players is such a bad thing to you.

Anyway, I'm basically just repeating what I said in my previous post, and you managed to post a reply without actually taking on a single point I said and replying to it.

You get me?

I don't see anything wrong with making a section, fair enough, this is indeed a 1.6 community although we have a small CS:GO community growing within therefore creating such section will be no harm.

Accepted for now although I will have to speak with Raven about it first.

Thank you for your input lads! ;)
