Title: [HELP] CS:GO gameinfo.txt file missing
Post by: Dark Sonic|turnmyswagon8) on November 30, 2014, 01:46:25 am

Hello All,

so i have downloaded cs go on my steam account but when i try to run it, it says that the gameinfo.txt file is missing and it is not in the bin folder. i managed to get a css gameinfo.txt and tried to edit it a bit so it would suit but hence this after i ran the game it said the game required steam.

Please help me:( or please be kind and upload the gameinfo.txt file from your csgo bin folder ^.^ would be helpful.

remove launch options, clear game cache

check if the file does actually exist (windows search or manually) there's a chance it failed to install it correctly and the path is false
redirect it to your CSGO if this is the case
