Looks good, very nicely done.

Which software did you use and how long did it take you.

I know, it's done like that on purpose :D

My inspiration was cover of some magazine so I tried to style it like that, not sure if it met the expectations but oh well :D

Photoshop and roughly 40 min. The overal procedure is actually quite easy (could be done in aprrox 10 min), it was more of the fact I was messing around with layers testing new stuff.

06 Eurotrip Bratislava, Slovakia (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mYqY5YELd0#ws)

hahaha yeah, ol' good Eurotrip.

Funny thing is, thsi actually not even filmed in Bratislava, but actually in a city all the way on the oppostie site of Slovakia, Kosice.
And yes, it looks terrible there in that squalor :D

Here is official promo video, although it's sort of biased as it doesn't show uglier parts.

Bratislava Offical Video 2014 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oac2zPqWGYw#ws)

This is how actually Bratislava looks like (the nicer parts and also the uglier parts)

City of Bratislava (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CACodIPExB8#ws)

The worst looking part of Bratislava is called "Petrzalka", which is also the part with most "ghetto". It looks somewhat like this

It's mainly a part where young people live, as living there is extremely cheap and it sort of reflects on how the part of the cityl ooks. Highest level of urbanization.

At one point it's funny to see the Eurotrip movie and how they displayed Bratislava, but on the other hand it's sort of stupid how they filmed it and called it Bratislava when it's not even Bratislava :D

Bratislava is actually real nice city and on highest European standards, only issue is, it sort of stands out from rest of Slovakia. Everything is concentrated here, industry, import, export, economy, politics, major sport teams, celebrities and even agro-culture. There are major life-quality differences between Bratislava and other Slovakian cities. The other cities don't look as bad as Eurotrip made them out to be, but pretty much everybody who means something lives in or least in near of Bratislava. And everybody who is capable of doing so that lives in Slovakia, either moves or least tries to move in to Bratislava from other Slovakian cities.

It's also incredibly ahead in economy,  compared to other Slovakian cities. Just as an example, a maid here gets paid 3x more (on average) compared to if she would be working in other Slovakian cities.

As said, as somebody who lives there, I can't complain about that situation, but it's sort of sad how it is a ngiht and day compared to other cities when you visit Bratislava and an another Slovakian city.

Honestly, I have no clue. It's been there for a while though, almost a year and it's still not finished. I have no clue what are they doing there. I asume something with gas or petrol if they're being that extra careful. Who knows. I don't live in Petrzalka anyways so I don't have the best access to info about that.

I googled it :D and it seems it is part of a huge development - skyscrapers, etc - to be held in that region.
This is what I found:

Total area of the development: 270,000m2
Total floor space (excluding parking spaces): 400,000m2
Park and greenery area: 70,000m2
Lake area: 24,000m2
Boulvard: 800m
Number of parking spaces: 4,500
Planned start of the project: 2007
Planned finish of the project: 2013
Investment costs – stage 1: 50,000,000 €
Investment costs – stage 2: 350.000.000 €

Apparently there are other projects still to come. I didn't know they were investing so much money in that city, however when it's all finished it'll be a beauty.

Yeah pretty much as I said in my previous post, it's pretty ridiculous how much money they invest into Bratislava while neglecting other cities. Either way, thanks for your research, didn't know as somebody who actually lives in the very exact city would learn something new about it from a foreigner. Sounds interesting :D

PS: Here is my favourite architecture wise building in Bratislava, called Eurovea. It is a gigantic shopping centre (all those buildings you see on the picture are part of it and they are connected to each other). Really nice play to hang out at, either with your friends and also a nice place to go to, if you're a tourist. Wide sortiment of shops and so on.

During night

From inside, small part of it

And a nice little park to take your date at or take a rest at after shopping marathon is part of the complex as well :D

It looks really nice both inside and the outside. The outside is gorgeous.
The park's nice too, a couple of years ago there was a similar park in the heart of Oporto (where I live), with lots of green spaces but it was torn down in 2001 by the mayor of the city who decided to fill the space with nothing but concrete and statues. That park was way better than what it is today.

Until 2001 (this is an old pic)

Nowadays (this pic was taken from the building you see above, which is city hall)

Due to the economical crysis we're into, similar constructions simply ceased to exist. There are virtually none, at the moment, in Portugal.
Contracters and engeneers are being forced to try their luck abroad. Germany, Netherlands, UK and a few places in Africa as well.
I'm thinking to do same.
