I noticed yesterday that you have created a "like system" which is quite cool but don't you think that a notification system would make it better ?
I mean, it's not hard to go to check the reason why you have got a like, but it would be easier for everyone to receive a notification whenever a like is given.
You could also add to this notification system, all the replies given to the posts which we would have made/replied.

@ReFresh hmm? Not sure if this one works as there were issues with it. Not sure if Raven fixed it as I didn't really take a look into this one yet, myself.
EDIT: Could somebody post here a message with @Rawrplus for testing purposes? (Note, a drop down menu should go when you write @Rawr and you have to select my name, Not sure if the plugin is compatible with all browsers. If the drop down menu doesn't appear, then it doesnt matter what you write.)

how about making it if someone uses that you get an notification that your name got used in an topic ? Would sumup alot lol

It says it's compatible with SMF 2.0.8
But well, if you say that it doesn' work in these forums, then Idk, I can't do anything else.
It's just a suggestion, and can't you edit the Like Mod to allow notifications? Isn't there an option that could allow this?

@Rawrplus, unfortunately I don't get any drop down menu and I'm using Chrome.

Enotify is a nice mod but it puts way too much pressure on the web server as it is calling back all the time for new activities to everyone online thus hogging up resources unnecessarily.

And just noticed that the mention function has permissions.. I've changed them to allow everyone to mention. I wouldn't of thought this little mod needed permissions.

Annoying thing is, once you get mentioned, the [2] on your profile as [2] mentions, don't go away.
OH NVM, I found where the issue was. You just can't click on your profile button, but go to your profile and then select mentions. That way it works.
Okay, looks like the forum plugin is ready to be used then. Nice :) !

I can't because the plugin has issues rendering your name. Probably because it can only read basic UTF-8 / ASCII characters and not "ö".

And as regards to the like bug. The author has been notified about it and has confirmed that it will be fixed in the next release which we'll update to as soon as it is available.

Oh, okay! Unfortunately I don't get any notifications like, PROFILE [1] but just a plain PROFILE.. Is it something that "normal members" don't get or is it another permissions issue?

Well! That's weird. When ReFresh mentioned me I didn't get anything and once you've done it I did. Can some other "normal member" mention me just to make sure that it's how I say it is?

Conclusion: Is this accepted as a "Profile [1....]." ? Or we will work out on something else? (looking for an answer from higher staff)

It seems to be rather glitchy, sometimes you get the notifications, sometimes you don't.

What I think happens is that whenever you get a mention from someone like yourself @Rawrplus (position / admin panel access) then you get this PROFILE [1] and if you get it from a normal member it doesn't show. I wouldn't say it's glitchy but it's worth looking into and possibly it may be a wee change that needs to be done. ;)

Yes, @Rawrplus but unfortunately it doesn't work the other way round :D
Admin Panel Access member mentions a member = PROFILE [1]
A member mentions an Admin Panel Access member = PROFILE [1]
A member mentions a member = PROFILE
This is what I mean and if you could check that with like staff (Moderators / Head Admins) whether it's all true.
