Hello guys and girls!

As you may have guessed from the title, we're looking for new Forum Moderators to expand our team. Everyone can apply to be a forum moderator (board moderators included).
We will pick the best possible Forum Moderator choice in upcoming future.

How we imagine an application should look like

Have you ever produced articles on the internet / newspaper: Yes and I still do keep producing monthly articles on the internet. I also have experience in "PR" representation as you can see in some of my posts here aswell

Have you worked as Forum Moderator on the internet before?: Yes, indeed :)

Rate your english speaking abiity: There's always a room to improve, no matter how good you are at any language given, though if you allow me to be a bit mean, I think it's really good or some would say tad above the average :)

Do you think you have enough charisma to to interact well with members?: I hope to claim so, I'm in good terms with almost everybody around. Quite a big personality in Ambrosia that is easily recognized by majority of the community.

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think you should be the new Forum Moderator of Ambrosia Community: Well, as you could have read already, I have huge amount of experience and with the forum-related skills I have, such as graphic design and webdesign, I find myself not only to be able to moderate the forums properly, but contribute to the improvement of the actual forums. I am confident in my ability to handle the situation and be one of the aspiring "top-notch dogs" of the forum moderation team. The promotion would really mean a lot to me, I have always loved this community ever since I visited the servers for the first time and being able to help you guys out with the forum moderation would not only be a great honor, but a dream come true aswell!
Wether you decide to choose me or not, I'll always be willing to help you guys no matter what the situation is. If you gave me a chance, i'd be willing to work hard as ever. Looking forward to your response

Rate your english speaking abiity:On a scale of 1-10 I'd say 9.5 but as any normal human I make mistakes.

Do you think you have enough charisma to to interact well with members?:Yes. I don't believe anyone hates/dislikes me if they do I would immediately apologize and make things up with said person. I am Friendly and Interactive with everyone. I wouldn't say EVERYONE knows me as I only play Jailbreak and nothing else but I hope to change that by getting this position.

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?:
For one, I have been here for quite long and I know how things run around here, If given the chance I would make sure that no board goes unchecked for gruesome spam that happens a lot.
I have lots of free time that is open for something and what better to fill that than helping Ambrosia?
It will not affect my activity In-Game but rather increase my activity on the Forum. On the whole, there are several other candidates who are more suited for this job and deserve it but I would also like a chance to do my part for Ambrosia as it is my pleasure to do so. I do understand that this job requires time and effort and I am ready to put 200% into this.

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?: Counter-strike is boring atm, so im very active in the Forum and I think I have what it takes and my dream was always to be a moderator in a large community like ambrosia. I accept all forum rules and am very active in the forum. I'll take care of law and order. I can communicate very well with other people and have a very good spelling. Also, I've written many reports and long texts. It is my dream to be a moderator. I think you will not regret it and I hope you will give me a chance. If I am Accept, I'll do my best! Since i'm a steam trader and i use to give news about the prices of the games , sales and also articles for some stuff. I'm also the manager of a big group on steam for steam trading, news about steam and so on. Tell me if you want to check it.

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?: I would love to be a forum moderator on Ambrosia since i really like to help the members of Ambrosia , and i would also avoid people from spamming / breaking any rule ..etc. I think i can do a great job with it. I see many people that does not follow the forum rules , they just avoid it and as far as i'v seen none of the forum moderators warn them. Ambrosia is a great community and it needs a lot of work to get better and better! I can handle this job since i have been forum moderator before in many websites and forums ( i had my own one also , not *free* ).

Have you ever produced articles on the internet / newspaper:Not on the internet, but bringing school into this, I have produced solid and detailed reports and analysis of of situations and created essays upon essays on books we have to read. I do pretty well to be honest and I reckon I'm quite a talent :)

Have you worked as Forum Moderator on the internet before?: Nope

Rate your English speaking ability: I'd say as a young lad living in England, my English is considerably clear and coherent.

Do you think you have enough charisma to to interact well with members?: I consider myself rather sociable and I haven't got problems with anyone.
I'm very easy to get on with and very understanding of people. I am not a biased person, and take opinions from both sides before making judgements.

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?: Taking everything specified above into account, I think this would be an great opportunity for me to expand my understanding and knowledge of being a leader. I personally think that I have all the skills needed to administrate the forums and I am extremely active.
I've been around here for around half a year now, and I have learned a great deal throughout that time including how to make topics and look after the surf server.
I also am very dedicated and always want to finish a job off, meaning that I wont give up half way on someone or something and will see things through till the end.

Experiences: I used be FM in UG community and in PA Community, I have also had my own forum, used RevelationX and currently got one too (No1B, RevelationX and one about describing a game called Habbo)

Have you ever produced articles on the internet / newspaper: Yes, when I did I.C.T at school we had to design a website, our example (me and my group) was about mobile phones, we had a few good phones and we described them, the features and more, kind of a article. I also was a Interviewer here in Ambrosia (Ambrosia Times)

Have you worked as Forum Moderator on the internet before?: Yes, used be FM in UG Servers (Closed now) and PA Servers (Also closed i think).

Rate your English speaking ability: I think my English is good enough for the job since I am from the UK, but I got to say that I've just recently returned to the UK (3-4 years ago) and I might have a few small mistakes, but in general good.

Do you think you have enough charisma to to interact well with members?: I think I do, I talk to most people, everyone (hope so) knows that I'm a hard worker and dedicated to what I am aiming for (again hope so).

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?: Well firstly because I really get annoyed when I check admin applications and see that there is a member that clearly hasn't read the Support rule and instead of posting I would simply just want to modify the post asking him to read the rule. I also think I'm reasonable and fair, I would be fair with everyone, would always let give a warning before actually giving some %. I've been here in Ambrosia for a while now and I know how it works around here. Rule breakers, I see a few and the current FM might of not seen it and well it is really annoying and I would want to stop that of happening. I am also good in making topics with style, it has to be neat or I would never post it. There are a few people that create useless topics that shouldn't really be posted and well like I said I would also want to stop that. I'd like to have the chance to clean a bit more the forum, appropriate topics, language, discussions, etc.. This would also allow me to improve my SMF skills. Basically cleaning up the forum a bit more with rule breakers and putting things in its place. Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone.

Experiences: I am an advanced experienced coder. Currently studying computer science, very good knowledge with pawn, vb, c++, php and html. (I know a few more but I haven't completely acknowledged them precisely the way it should be)

Have you ever produced articles on the internet / newspaper: Indeed I have. Back in the days I had a blog for my samp coding basics and activity. Nonetheless, I had a blog for MG which I used to update every single day with community changes and recent promotions and demotions with specific details on how the day went.

Have you worked as Forum Moderator on the internet before?: I have; however, I resigned the rank on new dawn (a well known samp community) due to leaving samp for cs as I have no time for both. Then again I administrated MG's forum alone and it was pretty decent. Note that I still have the smf database for MG's forum including the entire post counts and threads created. (Ofc if you guys wanna take a look at it).

Rate your english speaking abiity: Currently nailing decent grades with English also done TOEFEL (I can send in the certifacate if necessary). I can communicate both wise speaking and writing properly.

Do you think you have enough charisma to to interact well with members?: Charisma is one of the most important skills in life to have at this moment, as it increases the amount of confidence and improves an individual's personality by taking advantage of it. To be honest without charisma I would not have made it this far anywhere, not my gaming life nor my real life.

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?: I'm really qualifed for the spot, and I'm pretty sure a lot of people around here know pretty well who and what I am. Cleaning the forum is just another way to help which I'm trying to give each and everyone here. To me its very simple to some others it may not be. Not to mention an ex beta tester on samp's forum with over 150k members which costed us endless threads and very unusual posts to omit. Administrated the new dawn's forum for a year and half which also contained over 5k members. I'm pretty much always available and very easy to reach. I can be pretty helpful to lots of people, and trust me you still don't know what I'm capable of handling or doing. The lack of professionalism around here can come to an end in no time. People with unstable posts, hatred comments, childish replies will be warned. Unnecessary topics deleted/trashed.

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?: I think I should become a forum moderator because I am really active on the forums, my exams have recently finished, and it will be a good start for me to be a forum moderator, I can manage the forums really precisely. Also I think I can monitor the interchange of contributors and makes decisions regarding content and the direction of threads, I can manage threads and post all really well. I can vary my self in the forums, I can organise stuff in the way it is. I can stay focused to my objective. In reality it is my dream to become a rank in a great community like Ambrosia, this will be really honourable and a good chance to prove and show my self to Ambrosia! I have knowledge in knowledge of HTML and acuity at moving, merging, adding, and deleting text, graphics, and links. I like to help people around the forums, move their topic if needed, I will all ways try my best to help and put a smile on the persons face which is in need of help! If you talk about social skills my social skills are above average In my opinion, which might give me some more advantage on top of people in experience! I boost the servers a lot which shows that I actually have passion in Ambrosia, I also have experience in managing the forums from my previous communities! (Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?: Well, i have lots of experience in moderating servers and forums, and i'm really dedicated to ambrosia, whenever some1 calls me, i join here, even if im busy doing other stuff these days, i would like to help ambrosia in sm way, and this way would be the best.. I dont think im that old at ambrosia, but i believe i can do a splendid job if i get this opportunity, i am no powerhunger, believe me, and i especially hate powerhungers, since they dont have anything else to do except spam forums and highstaff to make them one of the highstaff themselves.. I've got alot of experience on forum moderating since i've been a moderator of a community for about an year or 2, after that, i got promoted to ha.. After that, i resigned from that community to get a shot in here, since i love ambrosia.. Many people that have applied in here are better than me, and can do a better job, but i can be really helpful and i might work harder than them if you give me a chance, you might know.. You might see me alot in-game and in forums, im usually on forums, but i dont post 24/7.. I used to be quite a spammer, but i've stopped spamming now.. If i get a chance, you will see on what i can do and what i cant do.. I wont be able to do some things, since the forum i was moderator at was a bit differentt. I've been playing on ambrosia for about an year, and i havent done anything for it, except being vip on jailbreak, and i want to do something for ambrosia, and this would be the best way for me to do something for ambrosia.And there are often people breaking forum rules and swearing lots of times, so i would love it if i could put a stop to that, since i hate people who swear, That's all i can say for now.. :) GL to every1, and hope the best man get's accepted.!

Have you ever produced articles on the internet / newspaper: I have made some articles at school but never done newspaper VIA PC.

Have you worked as Forum Moderator on the internet before?: Once as a Forum Moderator, 3 times as a headadmin (having most of the powers on the forum) and once UC. No idea if you count headadmin and UC spots but just saying.

Rate your english speaking abiity: Perfect enough. Grammaring a bit, "abiity" should be probably "ability"

Do you think you have enough charisma to to interact well with members?: Yes, I'm a social and a kind person to everyone.

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?:The first thing is, I have a lot of experience with SMF. But with graphic part I'm pretty bad (expect paint), I've lost my interest about playing Counter-Strike, but I have always wanted to help ambrosia out and I like working such a things and doing things for you guys. I'm active on forums, always when I'm doing something with my computer, I log in to ambrosia forums and check out this place.

Experiences: Head Admin and Admin, but it is not always about experience. I know how to use SMF pretty well. Ran my own clan forum as owner and used pretty much all the features, so i have a good understanding of SMF use.

Have you ever produced articles on the internet / newspaper: You could say, yes.

Have you worked as Forum Moderator on the internet before?: A board mod has similar role but on a smaller scale, but not a forum mod before. Also experience from head admin of working with the forums.

Rate your english speaking ability: Pretty good i guess

Do you think you have enough charisma to to interact well with members?: Ofcourse

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?:

Why? Well, why not? I like ambrosia, it is unique compared to other communities and if i can get a chance to help out a bit more and in a different way, such as in the forums, then i will obviously learn. Along with learning comes fun, it will be something new for me and i am sure i will enjoy helping out the staff organising and cleaning the forums on a day to day basis. I am very active on the forums and in general in ambrosia and i think i have what it takes to be appointed to this role and perform the duties well. Whatever way i can help ambrosia, with skills or not, i think forum moderating is a way for me to actually take a step further in my journey in this community and just prove to myself what i am capable of.

As a side note, i was only Head Admin for a month, then demoted, which i believe is unfair and if i get promoted again i will be very much grateful because i spent countless hours on the deathrun server making sure it was secure and suggesting lots of things to improve it. In terms of social skills, i am quite a social person, even if it may not look like it. I study sociology at school, which might mean nothing you but i have a decent understanding of social behavior and tracking down the roots of issues and problems. I may be the type of guy that asks all the questions, but i believe after working as a forum mod, it will improve my english and general abilities a lot. Learning from something like a gaming community is quite fascinating for me, i think it would be great if i could help out and learn at the same time alongside my favorite game.

Furthermore this will probably develop my confidence for decision making which is a great life skill and if i can establish it through a rank in a community forum, that is very good. Apart from saying that, if you can trust me as a Head Admin, then i am sure you can trust me as a forum mod, head admin and forum mod both secure the forums from rule breakers so i have atleast a bit more of a good understanding on working with the forums. Especially at a time like this when we are growing and taking our deserved rank back, more new members will be joining and will need some forum guidance to be able to have the best experience in Ambrosia.

Experiences: I'm not the brightest with graphical design, generally total zero. I expand on the given forum using outmost formattable language and approach, dealing issues methodically with psych and inter-personality tactics.

Have you ever produced articles on the internet / newspaper: What I had done for the ambrosian newspaper, that's it. Some stuff on sc2 reviews and aom heaven.

Have you worked as Forum Moderator on the internet before?: Yes, I concur of having exactly 3 years of constant forum moderating on multiple communities.

Rate your english speaking abiity: I'm a foreigner, I do lack some grammatical correction and accelerated speech(often can speedup and can get even me lost throughout the conversation). So as a handicap i'm currently aware and step by step erasing.

Do you think you have enough charisma to to interact well with members?:Generally speaking no, as a empirical follower I can do whatever it takes to have overall peace in the forum. I'm mostly popular through ambrosia as a spammer and a pointless poster, this can be used positively and negatively. Happily I have dealt with both antagonistic side effects

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?:I was given a forum moderator position somewhere on the beginning of last year. It lasted around 1 month and I was fired for nepotistic interference with a banned member, so called ipawn or rizla. I learned from my mistake and wanted to keep a smooth admin position. I resigned my admin position for exactly one issue of not having a inherited rule on permanent ban for scripters. Therefore I stopped playing cs and went on my oldschool games, indicating a traditional hobby over the years. I consider myself to preformed marvelously in that timespan and request for extending this of the corresponding application. Any problems related to member-member;admin-admin;member-admin can be given to me and solved in my own unique ways. I coordinate really well with logical boards and their role. I have advised and actively participate in meetings in the ambrosian history. I do not have a problem asking for references on other communities for conformation.
And in addition to the application, I hope it doesn't require me to be active on servers; if it does delete the application.

I can easily manage the smf packages , i can add boards , i can make some backup , I can find some package and add it to our forum and many stuff like this.

Rate your english speaking abiity: Quite fluenty to keep some good interaction between the members and me.

Do you think you have enough charisma to to interact well with members?: Obviously yes ! I feel very comfortable in social situations. I'm able to relax around people and have chill interactions. I'm also addicted to the deep listening which mean not only paying attention to what the other person is saying, but also being able to hear what has not been said, but it is there.

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?: I want to be forum moderator because I am mature and I'm always looking out for people breaking the forum rules. I want to help the forums out and leave the high staff to do their job (unban request , admin complain , etc..) I will always be nice to the players on the forums and I will not abuse my powers. I will try to keep the forums as clean as possible. I consider myself a very fair but also strict judge. I take into account all sides of the situation and will make sure my decision is the correct one by digging deeper, finding evidence and talking to people.

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?: I'd fit the role since I'm pretty much active on the forum daily (even when my CS-time is over). I understand that you surely don't need to have amazing coding or similar experiences for such role since for me it's pretty much all all about looking at members behaviour as well as looking out for any inconveniences between members and/or staff. I'm great at sorting as well as handling things out. I'll not abuse my rank and try to solve everything, everywhere. I'll either leave it up to someone who's more familiar with sorting and dealing with such things. I'd be helpful by monitoring the forums every now and then for any kinds of trouble as well as update any kinds of topics that need enough detail in them. Obviously, getting such rank means being respectful as well as serious to others as well to yourself. I'll try and provide the best service for the community by taking the best decisions as well as making them fair on everyone. We're all equal! My English is at a good level. I understand the rules and follow them at all times.

I can say that I know all the rules of our community ! Since I left the community , I've become more responsable and I can say that I manage well my time , therefore I can be available all along the day , and since I do not play CS much as the old days , I could say I'm a free man ! I also tend to be very calm ,I don't rush decisions to rethink about everything so I pretty much try to be fair in all situations ! I'm not boastful so I will use my rights in a fit way ! I would also help updating the old topics which lack some information and clean up the forums from unnecessary posts and threads ! Why do you think, you should be a forum moderator?:

The reason I should do this is because I have nothing to do at night and i always do check the forum. And probably a decent amount of people will join. So I'll do the work, while you can be busy doing your other assignments. As the forums are equally important to the game, but they are different, in a sense of moderating. They both have the same principles; for example, making sure there is no disruptive behaviour and making sure they are spam free, plus the rest of the rules that apply, although the forums are different in a sense that they make our members work. People have to visit us in forums to get on to our game, yes some players may not read the forums at all and just click "play now" straight away although, we have to keep the forums regularly updated and consistently checked. I am offering myself up for this role, our current staff are doing a great job at keeping them clean and risk free to current date, although as they are so busy with updating the members and they have a life outside of the game I can offer them a break, it's one less thing you have to worry about and you can concentrate more on what takes more time. The forums have vast majorities of posts and threads posted on the forums everyday and reading through them all can sometime be tedious and long winded. I do emphasise on the sometime, but most posts on the forums are interesting and worth reading! I applaud you people for that, I have a small giggle to myself to most of the posts ;). However when there are more people checking over them and asking sure everything is in order, helping people out on what they need to know, it makes it less strenuous for everyone.

Reasons why I think I would be suited as a forum moderator are as follows;

I have a broad range of knowledge for the server as a whole, both the Forums and In-Game. I have most of the answers to peoples questions that they need to know.
I know what it takes, from past experiences, I know what is expected of me and I know what is expected of the role. It becomes almost like a second nature, the forums is like continuous book that expands everyday, hour by hour, I'm always intrigued and have that desire to want to read more. Although I know the difference in importance between the forums and the game, the forums are like he heart of the game, without the forums we have no game, so If I can help to participate in the staff team then I can assure that I will do my best to keep them the way that they are supposed to be, and what they perceive to be, as well as, making sure that they grow with triumphal efforts of the current staff team, that I would be overwhelmed to be part of. What makes me unique is that I enjoy the forums. I feel it is a place for people to relax, but also a place for a players to get updated for in-game and Forums. But when it needs help I will be there to do what I can help.

Many of you may know that I am a working junior barrister/lawyer and as such part of my job description is to deal with people - the fussy, the stubborn, the angry, not so friendly and etc. Other than that, I have been exposed to forum activities since my teenage years and I believe that I have all the basic understanding of how a forum is run and the skills to manage it.

Drafting legal documents, legal advises, opinions, official letters, submissions and etc are some of the things that I do everyday.

Rate your english speaking abiity: I would say somewhere between average and good, but you can be a better judge in this.

Do you think you have enough charisma to to interact well with members?: I would like to think so. I can get along with pretty much everyone as long as they don't creep me out. I believe that I am well trained in the aspect of interaction and communication with people, especially since social skills is an essential element in my line of work.

(Please be In-Depth) Why do you think you should be the new Forum Moderator of Ambrosia Community: Well, firstly is definitely because of my activeness in forum, which is due the amount of time that I spend on the internet. Be it at work or at home, I am constantly on the internet working, surfing the net, playing games, reading news and etc. My biggest motivation however, is my foreseeable future. In the next months or so there will be a strong likelihood where I will be given more responsibilities at work and as such my time playing games will be very limited. Whether the reason is work or age, I will eventually have to give up gaming altogether. Being a forum moderator however, I will still be able to contribute to the community and this will, in my opinion, be more appropriate than being an admin in the servers. To lay a few benefits that I can bring if given this position, as someone who is of a more matured age, I can offer views and opinions from a different perspective. As a legal adviser, I am trained to see things through an objective standpoint and this will allow me to offer objective, impartial and rational opinions when dealing with complex issues. My legal background will also be an asset in maintaining order within the forum and when executing the rules and regulations laid by the legislators. From the perspective of a player, my experience playing the game for more than 10 years is certainly another advantage that will assist me when resolving disputes, as the saying goes:- "can't fix something you don't know". Lastly, if I may add, one of the reasons for my application is due of the encouragement of a member thus, I would like to say thank you to him for his motivation and belief, you know who you are :)
