Title: How to stop the auto advertising , and messing up the game ( Solution )

Advertising : There are alot of server that when you join they mess up your game and your stuff and you auto advertise , so this is how to fix it :
first open the console the ` key ( under 'esc' for most PCs/ Laptops ). Okay so now is the part where you should know which key you press and it advertises , if you dont know then type in the console 'unbindall' if you know then type unbind (key) then go to your options and press use default if you used unbindall .

ADMIN SLOW-HACKED YOU -  ( due to cheating or hacking or other reasons ) this plugin is called amx_fu**up , amx_destroy , amx_pika it activates and fu**s the game of the cheater just how the plugins name work xD anyway , to fix it the first thing is your game becomes all laggy so you just do fps_max and it will say 1 change it to 101 or higher in the console.
2nd - your server pings are high : type rate it will say 1 change it to 25000 - 30000.
3rd - Colours of chat is messed up , concolors will say 1 1 1 , change it to 255 255 255 ( white )
4rth - open regedit - Windows start menu , type regedit press enter ( for vista or w7 ) For xp find run.exe and type in it regedit.exe then press enter or run.
5th - Find 'VALVE' And delete it from regedit .

If this didnt work just reinstall the game but rename the folder and dont make it counter strike 1.6 , make it cs 1.6 or counter strike 1.6jk ( or any other thing )

Not tested on STEAM , but works 100% for non-steam!

OR just go to Counter strike 1.6 / cstrike find config.cfg
-Delete it then run CS 1.6 , do all the settings
-Go back and right click on config.cfg and Read Only

TIP - If you have been 'Pika'ed' then there is no way to fix it , just reinstall the game , because it destroys your game sprites and models.

You could just go to your config in your cstrike folder and remove all the advertising binds. (Set your config to read only and this won't happen in the first place)

I never saw that "Use default"  ??? Everytime i have adver button, i re install CS :'( But thank for telling that Default xd

ON// Shane's way is a lot easier to be honest.. but great that you have gave some people that are stuck a hand.

But mate instead of doing all these commands simply install a new config.cfg from your cstrike folder ..

or easier just re-install the game lol no need to keep on doing these command :P

At least i gave out the problems what servers actually do to your game by messing up your stuff from the console right?
